”It’s a premier inn Self check in seemed ok a bit impersonal On arrival we were early and no power in hotel but all good we returned later It’s on a courtyard shared with sainsbury Penrith itself isn’t very inviting but the hotel is ok”

”Honestly one of the honest places we have stayed at. Really central and the property is beautiful. Sue is such an amazing hostess and her scrambled eggs are legendary. We enjoyed it that much that we have already bookend another stay.”

”I so want this place to succeed! It’s in the most picturesque village, but needs some TLC after a string of management changes. New team comes in August. The bedrooms are clean, small, very comfortable and well designed. Current staff are lovely, but they’re leaving in 2 weeks.”

”Really clean and well presented hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful and hotel was well laid out. Excellent gym and pool and the food was fantastic both at breakfast and dinner. Unfortunately no EV charging and dogs were allowed in the restaurant (a family were actually feeding their dog at breakfast!). These are minor issues for a really nice hotel however.”
