We had a good time. We love Pensacola Beach.However, we have complaints.No boardwalk to the beach. Felt a little cramped, but it was OK for us three. Could not make the bedroom dark.Fan in living area did not work. The clock had no battery.I am 82, my wife is 79, and our daughter is 57, and we had a good time at the beach.

The description for this condo definitely gets a 5 star for marketing. Luxurious is a stretch. While it has Kitchen Aid appliances in the kitchen, the remaining amenities and space lack. The furniture was too much for the small space. There were stains on the sheets in the downstairs BR and items smeared on the walls in the upstairs BR and bathroom. My son in law fell down the super small, spiral staircase twice and hurt his knee and foot. The location of the unit was fine. The unit next door is being remodeled so that work was occurring during our stay into the late night and early morning hours. We found food in the freezer from former tenants and personal items left in the dressers that had been left but not cleaned out. There’s one parking spot available inside the parking garage for the unit but space is available outside for other cars. For the money we spent, it didn’t seem like the unit had been kept up enough to charge that luxurious marketing price.

This property is old Pensacola Beach which means the property has been there awhile but the proximity to the gulf and the pool was excellent. The property stated it slept 8 but the space was small and tough for all of us to eat or lounge together. There is lots of furniture which was necessary but made moving around much more difficult. We had a great time as a family and can’t wait for our next vacation!

Beautifully decorated unit and great host! We were more than pleased with everything including the well stocked kitchen for our 3 family group of eight. Just know that one king bedroom with twin beds & bathroom are upstairs. Another king bedroom & bath are on the main level. Loved seeing the Blue Angels and will stay again.

A wonderful birthday celebration! Seeing my brother who lives close! Good location. Great amenities. Breathtaking views. Fun swimming pool. Ample ground level parking. Nice working elevator. Beach chairs and umbrella provided. Spices available in the cabinets. Good sized patio.

Beautiful place but could have used information

The property is very nice. Stunning view and quiet location. This was the first VRBO I stayed in that there was not any information on the area such as places to see, places to eat, etc. I checked everywhere and didnt see anything that was helpful for our stay. Being that is the only complaint I would say overall it was excellent. Would highly recommend this rental if you are looking for a quiet beach get away.

Great location beachfront!

We love staying at Gulf Winds. It was busier than it had been in the past, but we could still get a great spot on the beach each day. We also loved being able to walk to Peg Leg Pete’s. The condo was exactly what we needed. The only negative that needs attention is the brightness of the bedroom at night in the downstairs bedroom. A set of blinds behind the curtains would be a great addition.

Excellent location, condo needs attention

Perfect location, easy parking, amazing access to the beach, quiet and deck matches the pictures and views! We had a mixup on some cleaning items but it was quickly fixed by Lisa, who cleans the condo and was extremely helpful and responsive. The owner has some work to do on the interior to bring this back to the luxurious penthouse status. The bed on the main floor is falling apart, both the mattress and the headboard. The light outside the bedroom window is still there, the curtain needs to be moved up to help minimize it. By night 2, we all slept upstairs as the mattress had left our backs in bad shape. The # of blankets and towels is sparse for the size of the property if you’re using more than the 2 beds, and the pull out couch mattress was unusable due to prior guests stains on it. Lightbulbs and clocks didn’t work (out of batteries) so just simple things that are easy to fix to bring this back to penthouse status. As rental owners ourselves, we would want to know to get these fixed and communicated that directly to the owner. We would definitely stay here again with these things updated or fixed!

Beautiful beach front location

We really enjoyed our stay and loved watching the ocean, sunrises and sunsets from the balcony. Only drawback was not having a coffee pot brewer. We made the tea kettle work for our needs. Would definitely recommend the property.

Outstanding views

Gorgeous views and could see the sunrise and sunset from our balcony. Comfortable seating on balcony. Unit is as represented and communication was excellent. Comfortable bedding. Would stay here again.
