    Gulf Dunes Condominiums on lähellä Fort Waltonin ostos- ja ruokailupaikkoja ja vain kymmenen minuutin päässä Destinistä. Kävele pitkin rantaa Okaloosan kalastuslaiturille tai Boardwalkille. Pysy kanssamme ja nauti pääsystä kahdelle rannan uima-altaalle (yksi lämmitetty marraskuu-maaliskuu), yksityiselle rannalle tehdylle kävelymatkalle, kuntosalille, tenniskenttälle ja grillialueelle.

With Stewby's right across the street and only a few minutes drive to other restaurants and the local doughnut shops, its the perfect location. Nothing beats the ocean view from the balcony.

This unit has stained furniture, a smell to it, dirty paint and had no kitchen towels. We will not be renting this condo again.

One concern we did have was the black markings that were on the ceiling mainly in the kitchen area. We weren't sure what it was, mold, grease or something else. The sliding glass door didn't have a handle on the outside. Really wasn't a big deal for us but a family with kids might have issues. Overall, it was a clean comfortable condo we would stay in again.

It’s a quaint one bedroom with bunks in the hall for the kids. Overall, it met our needs perfectly for the week. However, I do feel it needs some attention. The kitchen/appliances are outdated. Cracks in the walls, popcorn ceiling was peeling in places, the bathroom tub/shower appears to be the original since that building was built and it shows. It would also be helpful if some standards are included- such as dish soap, coffee filters, trash bags, etc. I know it was suggested we bring our own but for the cost of a week’s stay during a peak season, these are amenities that many other places include without expecting renters to provide.

Love Gulf Dunes but not this unit

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I've stayed at Gulf Dunes many times but would not stay in this unit again. Floors and countertops were not clean. Cooking was a challenge as the stovetop elements didn't fit properly with the drip pans. This caused them to be tilted and loose. The sofa has definitely seen better days. Don't stay in this unit if you have any knee or back problems! But the perfect weather and the view from the balcony made it a great week. We tried Stewby's across the street because it was convenient. Food was delicious and reasonably priced. Will be back to Gulf Dunes but not 307

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was nice. A few suggestions I have are the following:The king bed was uncomfortable. I woke up with a backache every morning. Also, there were no blankets. Just a very thin bedspread. It's not that I like it cold, but I like something to cover up with other than a thin sheet. The floor in the condo was sandy and not very clean, according to the dirt on our socks. Just a suggestion but it would have been nice to have a coffee table in front of the sofa. Also, I suggest they get some rugs for the kitchen and the bathrooms. If to catch some of the sand and water. Something easily washed after each stay. This would be helpful to the guest.

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The unit location was very convenient and easily accessible. The beach service was very helpful although you had to reserve chairs each day as opposed to for the entire stay. The beach was clean unlike other areas within a 10 minute walk from the property.In the contract we had to sign, the property management company stated that "due to their high standards of cleanliness", the unit may not be ready right at 4PM. I'm not sure I want to find out what they consider a low standard of cleanliness. When we arrived, there was debris on the bed covers and furniture was visibly soiled. Our children insisted on sleeping on the pull-out. When we pulled it out, there were crumbs all over the mattress as if it hadn't been cleaned or used in months. That's also probably how long it had been since the floor was last mopped. After seeing the state of the furniture, we decided it would be best to wear our socks while inside the unit. Within 5 minutes of walking inside the unit, the gray soles of our socks were also visibly soiled. There were dust bunnies clinging to the ceiling in the bedroom like stalactites as well as dust caked to the ceiling fan blades.That doesn't even begin to speak to the general state of repair in the unit. The popcorn ceiling texture in the bathrooms was beginning to disintegrate with chunks of the texture missing. The shower drain was broken, the plunger was completely gone and we had to use a WalMart stopper to hold water in the tub for our children's baths. Not the end of the world, except for the general state of cleanliness in the unit. The metal ring around the tub drain was also broken. There was also no stopper for the kitchen sink. To wash dishes, we found the largest pot in the unit-which I am certain was made from the same gauge metal as our children's Melissa & Doug pots and pans set.I really wish I were making this up. We reached out to the property management company the first night about our concerns

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our condo was awesome. It was so clean and comfortable. The cleaning staff had done a great job and it was ready for us right on time. Our only problem was we could not enjoy our balcony because the neighbors played really loud music and smoked.
