  • Hauta häiriösi Meksikonlahden sokeri-valkoisella hiekkarannalla, matka tähän rannan eteen. 1 makuuhuoneen huoneisto tekee sinusta koskaan halua mennä kotiin! Tämä viehättävä yksikkö on avoin ulkoasun kanssa tilava olohuone ja keittiö. Kaikki keittiökoneet korvattiin marraskuussa 2016, lisäksi uuden rivin patio huonekalujen, pesukone / kuivausrumpu, bluetooth stereo / DVD-soitin ja useita muita kohteita lukuisia mainita täällä. Mukautetun keittiö on täysin varusteltu ja varustettu kaikella mitä tarvitset kokki niin paljon kuin sydämensä kyllyydestä! Tämä mukava pad on myös runsaasti counter tilaa, jossa uusia baarituoleja mukava baari istuimet! Makuuhuoneessa on tilava king size-vuode ja suuri mestari kylpyamme!

    Gulf Dunes Condominiums on lähellä Fort Waltonin ostos- ja ruokailumahdollisuuksia ja vain kymmenen minuutin päässä Destinista. Kävele pitkin rantaa Okaloosa kalastus laituri tai Boardwalk. Wow what a great development. From there each day was full of sunshine great food and happiness. The room was clean and ready to go furnished well. I would say the only thing to be improved on would be the master bedroom mattress needs replaced. Other than that it was awesome! Thanks so much Brooks and Shorey for all you do!

Only problem we have ever had in all the years of going to the beach, the bed mattresses were horrible. We ended up using the bunk bed mattress after the first night. Only half of the electrical outlets worked. We are not complainers, we just were really disappointed, especially the bed situation.

They are old and the sofa is a pull-out so you know going in it won't be great. However I didn't drive all that way to sit on the sofa so though it would be nice if it was better it certainly isn't a game changer. I'm sure the furniture is better in some of the MUCH more expensive units in FL.The place was clean, spectacular views, nice pool, friendly staff and reasonably priced. What more could you want?

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The unit was very clean and in our favorite area to stay in. We reported a toilet paper holder in need of repair once getting settled in. The local dining places never disappoint as they are the best around. You can’t beat the views from this location. Every day the weather was great and we loved the fact that we had beach service included with the room rental. We did a load of clothes and the dryer damaged some of the corners of the towels that were provided for us. We did report this as well. With that in mind we were afraid to wash and dry our own clothes. The mattress in the main bedroom needs to be replaced. Overall we had a wonderful vacation and can’t wait to come back again! Thanks to Brooks and Shorey resorts for everything they do to help with everything we appreciate you!

Reviewer Comments: I love staying at Gulf Dunes because the building is well maintained and everyone is so friendly - from the guy cleaning the windows every morning to the guys who set up the beach chairs. I've always felt very safe there. I always have a great experience with Brooks and Shorey. They make everything simple and stress-free. I have stayed in different units in Gulf Dunes through the years using Brooks and Shorey and I have to say this was my least favorite. It was well stocked, decorated nicely and had a gorgeous view. However, the mattress in the bedroom needs to be replaced. I saw another review that mentioned it also. They had a mattress pad over the mattress but it didn't help. I didn't sleep well all week and woke up with back and hip pain every morning. Please replace the mattress. The only other issue was that the unit and bedroom are right next to the elevator and it was pretty loud at times. Despite that, I would stay in this unit again as long as they get a new mattress. Overall, I had a great experience and always recommend Brooks and Shorey, along with Gulf Dunes, to family and friends. I can't wait to come back next year.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Gulf Dunes is a nice, but older condo complex. My family enjoyed sitting on the balcony watching the tides roll in, and searching for dolphins swimming by. Unit 406 is well equipped with many nice amenities--fully stocked kitchen, nice table, bar stools, bunk beds, new[er] washer/dryer. We loved the daily beach chair set up, volleyball net, and ability to rent kayaks/paddleboards right on the beach. Definitely check out the state park and the natural dunes. The island is a bit more sleepy, yet the main road is always bustling.Things to keep in mind if going to this area. This was our first time to Okaloosa Island/Ft Walton, we have typically stayed closer to Panama City Beach/30A. What we missed was the ease of riding a bike to any destination. There was only one small stretch of road with a designated bike lane, and too much traffic on the roads to feel safe. With that said, there were not many great destinations to bike to on the Island--coffee shop, donuts, lunch, etc. Be prepared to drive. The two biggest improvements to be made inside the condo would be to upgrade the couches and wifi. The couches are tired and worn--no doubt from the amount of sunscreen, sea water, sand. The wifi was strongest only when sitting in the same room as the router.

First time staying at this property. It was smaller than the pictures represented, especially the kitchen. Kitchen had very little silverware but plenty of dishes and appliances. TVs are fixed to the wall, and they should be adjustable for viewing. their cable channel selection sucks. Needs updated couch and loveseat, they are very worn and not really comfortable. The best thing was the cleanliness of the condo. The balcony was awesome, colorful wood chair and tables very cute and comfortable for enjoying the coastal views. Overall, it was a good experience because we went to enjoy the sea and sand. The chairs and umbrella on the beach were a very nice touch. Enjoyed the use of them each day.

This one has a great view and very nice outdoor seating. Nice unit. They could use more glasses and utensils.

Property Photos are glamorous

This unit is way more dated than the photos show. The ocean view was direct, beautiful and spot on. The rest was disappointing. Owners might be "do it yourselfers". Lots of caulk and "patch" work. Dirty. I wrote my name in the dust on top of the refrigerator. Spend a little more and be happier.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The unit was clean and properly maintained. However , the master bedroom has the hardest mattress we have ever had in a rental. we even went as far as going and buying a mattress topper that we left there. Still bed was very uncomfortable. The unit does need updated especially beds and bedding. The ice maker did not work had to buy ice for daily use. Overall, nice stay but did nt have the best due to bed.

The bathrooms and kitchen need to be renovated. The ice maker does not work. The view was great but that’s really all I can recommend about this condo.
