Our cottage nestles just minutes from the vibrant Palafox Place of downtown Pensacola, you’ll have immediate access to local restaurants, shops, and entertainment. Enjoy a short 10-minute drive to Blue Wahoos Stadium, or take a 15-minute drive to Sanders Beach and Marina. If you're in the mood for a beach day, Pensacola Beach is just 20 minutes away!

To make your travel lighter and more convenient, we’ve provided everything you need. The bathroom is stocked with essentials such as shampoo, conditioner, body wash, towels, toilet paper, mouthwash, lotion, razors, a hair dryer, handheld clothes steamer, toothbrush, toothpaste, floss, and Q-tips. The host was very responsive and friendly. The amenities were nice. You can just bring your clothes, especially flying restrictions on liquid sizes. Bathrooms were nice and clean. 3 bdr, 2 queen and a king. Perfect. Close to everything.

The house was amazing. It was perfect for our needs. Even though it appeared to be very small, it did not feel that way inside at all. We played a six hour monopoly game that was there for us to use. We created great memories. Highly recommend this house, especially if you want to be close to the Pensacola airport. Area looks less than desirable, but seem to be fine. Owners of the house were very helpful and responsive. We would definitely stay here again if we are in the area.

It was a great experience for us staying at a home near downtown and also near relatives in a suburban area. We flew into Destin AFB, rented a car and were good to unwind in our own place at the hut! Highly recommend the Saturday farmers market downtown, plus holiday lights at night.

Booked this stay to spend Halloween with my husband while he is in A school. We had the absolute best stay here! The house was the perfect cozy home away from home. The hosts do an amazing job with supplying everything you’d need stocked on cute trays in each room. Extremely clean too. And it was close to downtown and the bases! You definitely won’t regret booking this place!

I cannot tell you all how awesome this little home is. The rooms were plenty big enough and the kitchen area had literally everything you need for big meals. Everything was clean and it smelled so freaking good the minute you walk through the door! The backyard was such a cool hang out area and the neighborhood was quiet. It is 10 min of everything including the beach while also providing a great price!!! We will definitely be staying here again. The pictures don’t do it justice I promise you!!

What an amazing week we had at the Java Hut. We were in town for a very sad occasion but the comfort of this home helped make the trip way more enjoyable. I am so glad we stayed here. It is SUCH A BEAUTIFUL HOME!!! And so peaceful.

This place is super clean, location is super convenient for getting places and so close to everything. Being from out of state don’t let your immediate reaction to the area put you off, Pensacola is an old town but it’s rich with history and the look of some of these neighborhoods can be different for you if you’re used to shiny new things, don’t let the initial look put you off! The neighbors all kept to themselves and seemed pleasant and the area was very quiet and cozy when we would come back from our daily excursions. Never felt unsafe. For us it was the functionality of the space that did it for us. My parents, wife and daughter (four years old) had plenty of room despite it being like a tiny home but everything you could possibly need was supplied and I would definitely stay here again.

Such a cute cottage. Fully stocked, including the extras from the homeowner. They provided snacks and bath essentials easing my wallet of travel supplies. The neighbors are quiet. The master bedroom shower is fancy, and I thoroughly enjoyed winding down in there after long days of fun in the sun with family. Communication is a definite five star, as the owner was very responsive and polite. We visit every year to see family and next year if Java the Hut is available we will be back for certain.

Great home, but bad neighborhood

The home itself was beautiful, clean, and updated, but the neighborhood was undesirable. After we arrived, we did some research, and the neighborhood safety rating was a D-. We felt unsafe and did not sleep well at night because we were fearful someone might try to break in. So, I’m disappointed that myself and my family did not have a relaxing vacation. We should have researched the area/neighborhood prior to booking our trip. Lesson learned. One last thing, the bedrooms did not have dressers or chest of drawers, so we didn’t have anything to put our clothes in which made unpacking frustrating. My husband and children kept their clothes on the floor. I put my clothes on the shelf in the closet.

House was nice! Looked just like the photos. Neighborhood looked a bit concerning pulling in but had no issues and it was very quiet. Master shower was extremely complicated to work. Could’ve used more plates and bowls. Overall nice stay! Would definitely stay again, without as many people as we had lol.

Staycation for the summer

I was very impressed with how the place was. It was super clean. There were high quality kitchen’s items, like plates, cups and utensils. The house has everything you need, basic essentials wise. No need to run to the store. This place deserves to be out in the open area, not hidden area. The host was also super responsive. As soon as you message her she replies right back. I really love that! She’s also super sweet.

Beautiful little house, perfect size for 6 adults. Inside and outside seem new or recently renovated. Wonderful backyard that we used daily, close to downtown pensacola, 20 minutes from beach. Very close to interstate and stores. Loved it so much we extended our stay. Property owner was very easy to communicate with. Highly recommend to anyone if we ever come back to pensacola florida, we will be staying here again.

Family Get Away
