”One of the most relaxing holidays we have ever had. I would like to thank both Mario and Ilse for being wonderful hosts, we received such a warm welcome and were afforded absolute privacy throughout our stay even though they were always on hand if anything was needed.The cottage is beautiful and so well equipped its a real home from home, with a full size larder fridge and an under the counter freezer there is plenty of room for you to stock up on groceries and forget that the world outside...

”We have just arrived home from the most wonderful holiday! We can only describe the gite as paradise. We were so grateful for the beautiful pool to cool off in. Christine is the perfect host in every way. Such a lovely tranquil place to relax and a beautiful area to explore. We cannot say enough good things about this property. Definitely deserves more than 10/10!”

”Really lovely gite, lots of space inside and out. Well equipped kitchen, plenty of towels and toiletries provided. Ruth & Adrian were great hosts, there if needed but never intrusive. Bottle of wine in the fridge on arrival was much appreciated too. Lots to do in the local area. We had a fabulous two week stay. Beautiful hand made baskets to purchase as a souvenir too. ”

”The gite was lovely and well equipped. Beautiful, extremely peaceful situation. The private swimming pool is a real bonus! It’s a great place to chill in the sun and equally great for touring around. Stuart is a great host.”

”Second time staying at Nadia's property. It's a lovely old property that stays comfortable and cool in the hot summer months. Plenty of space for a large family to stay. Both times we have stayed the house has been very clean and the beds already made.10 minutes to the lake for a swim or a walk and a great night market on Monday nights during the summer.Disappointed to see the local bar has closed but it's up for sale so hopefully someone will bring it back to life!This is one of our favourite...

”J'ai réservé ce cottage pour mon fils et ses 3 amis. Pat et Adrian ont été très réactifs pour répondre aux x questions que je leur ai posées avant le séjour. Les 4 garçons ont été accueillis très chaleureusement. Ils ont adoré le cottage et les divers aménagements dont la superbe piscine chauffée. Tout s'est très bien déroulé. Je recommande donc, de la part de mon fils, cette superbe location pour un séjour tranquille dans la campagne charentaise :+)”
