Lake House ~ ~ pohjoinen
Rannalla vetäytyminen, toivottaa sinut tervetulleeksi paratiisiin. Susquehanna-joella Aldred-järvi on kahdeksan mailia pitkä järvimuoto kahden padon välillä eteläisessä Lancaster Countyssa. Tule rentoutumaan ja tarkkaile kotkia (8 kotkan pesäkoti), joita näet päivittäin. Täydellinen paikka nauttia itsestäsi suosikkitoiminnoillasi; veneily, kalastus, vaellus, outlet-ostokset, Amishin maa. Päivän lopussa upeat auringonlaskut järven yli omalla kannella. Grillataan kaasugrillillä tai täysin varustetussa keittiössä. Tai viettää viikon istuen järven rannalla, jossa hevosenkengät ovat, tai lyödä pari golfpalloa reikään.
Veneellesi tarjolla oleva julkinen ramppi on 1/4 mailin yläosassa Pequea Creekillä. Paljon parkkipaikkaa perävaunulle ylikuormitusalueella paikan päällä.
Tai tule vain rentoutumaan ja nauttimaan alueen rauhasta!

Rentoudu avoimessa pohjapiirroksessa; olohuone, josta on täydellinen näkymä, nauti myös iso TV DVD-soittimella, täysin varustettu keittiö, mikroaaltouuni, astianpesukone. Täysi kylpyhuone kylpyammeilla molemmissa kerroksissa. Makuuhuoneessa 1 on king-size-vuode, TV ja makuuhuoneessa 2 on queen-vuode, TV. Toisen kerroksen kylpyhuoneessa on myös pesukone ja kuivausrumpu, silityslauta, hiustenkuivaaja. Lisävarusteena saatavissa oleva lisävuode. (Huomaa; # 868495 - vierekkäinen kiinteistö suuremmille kokoontumisille * hinnoittelu saatavilla, 10 ylimääräistä ihmistä, mikä tekee tästä 5 makuuhuoneen vaihtoehdon.)

Järveä ympäröi Holtwood Preserve; Shenkin lautta Wildflower Preserve (yksi parhaimmista koillisosista) ja Tucquan Glen Nature Preserve, Pinnacle Overlook ovat alle 5 mailin päässä. Conestoga-polku kulkee Pequea-alueelta ja liittyy Mason Dixon -polkujärjestelmään. Melonta ja melonta ovat hienoja, koska sekä Pequea Creek että Conestoga-joki päättyvät Susquehanna-joen tähän kohtaan. Täydellinen alue vesihiihtoon tai kalastukseen. Pequea-veneramppi sisältää myös liikuntarajoitteisten kalastusalueen, 1/4 mailin päässä joesta.

Idyllic Views

Lake House

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy home by the lake. The setting was peaceful and serene—perfect for a relaxing getaway. The house was well-equipped, and had a charming feel that made it feel like a true escape from the everyday. . I loved waking up to the view of the lake in the morning. The entire home was so neat and clean. Check in/check out was super easy. Everything was as described and even better in person. We can’t wait to stay again!

Peaceful getaway

Easy check in. Clean spacious house with phenomenal views of the water. Everything we needed. Just bring clothes toiletries. Comfy beds and not too far from town. Owners are near by if needed and very accommodating. Easy access to the lake. The grounds are beautiful and the Train barley ever came through and sounds dull noise in house. No worries there. Enjoy! We sure did.

We rented the right half of house. Property was clean and right on the lake with hiking trails and boat launch just around each corner. Would definitely stay here again. Only downfall is nearby train goes through often and location is about 30 minutes from shopping and restaurants. Parking at house is only for one small car, others must park in a lot about two houses down the road.

You won't want to leave

This was a great place to stay overlooking the Susquehanna! Brian and his mom were wonderful to work with, and I so appreciated them sharing some of their knowledge of Pequea with me. I loved watching the eagles in the trees right next to the house and the ever-changing clouds and light on the river! My favorite hiking trail is up the street. I enjoyed the trains going by, too. It was all together a relaxing and enjoyable weekend and I hope to go back soon!

great escape

we really like this property. the property owner even let us check in early, which we really appreciate. they salted and shoveled the porch when we got snow and ice. property is clean, nicely furnished and we love the lake and the trains! will definitely be returning.

Great accommodations. Great view of the river. The train that someone mentioned in a previous review? Not even remotely a bother - kinda of cool! Home away from home, stayed here about 21 days. Will stay here again for sure.

Girls Weekend

Peque We arrived around 6:30pm. It was pitch dark. We opened the front door and were very impressed by the cleanliness of the property. We were immediately met by a stale mothball scent. We had a startling realization that we couldn’t open the windows. The owner had removed all of the handles to crank the windows open. He told us this himself. It gave an overwhelming feeling of being trap with no fresh air. I can’t imagine this is not a safety violation. Within 15 minutes of arrival there was a loud knock at our door. The owner told us we needed to move our cars out of the driveway, so he could get his car out of the garage. We were directed to move a car to the one parking space in-front of the house. The other car was to be parked in the ‘overflow’, which was 100 feet down the dark road with no light or sidewalk. We needed to walk on the dark winding road. When we went upstairs, we were shocked by the more than 7 inch step up to get into the bathroom. It was a real safety concern. The sectional couch was a fantastic place for a cozy evening of laughter and fun. In the morning, it was an incredibly peaceful view from the master bed! They played down the fact that the railroad tracks were about 75 feet off the back of the house between the house and the lake with freight trains that ran at night and are closer than the over flow parking. Overall, you can’t keep a girls weekend down, but we will not be back.

Tranquil respite by the lake!

The property was just as described and the property manager responded to our questions very quickly. It was located in a great location for our day trips to Gettysburg, Lancaster and Hershey I highly recommend this lovely home!

Such an amazing short stay here at the Lake house! Beautiful property, Eagles right above the deck, short walking distance to conestoga trail to get some hiking in, sat by the lake for hours and don’t miss out on the sunsets! Feeling a nice reset after this stay, thank you!

Amazing house on a lake
