”Sievä pieni hotelli suht kätevän bussi/kävelymatkan päässä Grand Baystä. Odotimme kuitenkin hiukan enemmän hyvien arvostelujen ja hinnan perusteella. Henkilökunta oli ystävällistä ja aamiainen oli hyvä (tosin tarjoiluja sai hieman odotella). Parvekkeellinen huone oli ok ja siisti, mutta ilmastointilaite melko äänekäs ja suihkusta oli hankala saada sopivan lämpöistä vettä tulemaan. Des navettes sont disponibles tout le long de la journée pour rejoindre les différentes plages.

”Jennifer and her staff were amazing, everyone was so friendly and helpful. The hotel location is excellent with plenty of restaurants and a supermarket close by. The breakfast choice is excellent and you can eat it on your balcony or have it served overlooking the beach. The hotel even organised a surprise snorkeling trip and decorated our bed for my birthday. On the weekend the area is a lot busier and noisier but it did not bother us.”

"Definately stay in the Nirvana adult only side if you want to have quiet stay without the noise of kids. Nirvana rooms also have butlers that are amazing especially Kesaven. "We were quite dissappointed in our stay at LUX. Based on their marketing, we were expecting top-notch service and lots of activities. The reality was not that glamorous. For example, during our 5-day stay, there was only 1 outdoor movie and no indoor movies for adults. We received our room 3 hours late because of maintenance issues (AC and phone not working). It smelled very strongly of paint (they were painting the room next door) but when asked, we could not switch the room because of that. There were also a lot of problems during checkout and the communication between different LUX employees was really bad (someone promised a late checkout, the other called that we need to leave the room early, we were charged too much, etc.). On a positive note, the food at the hotel restaurants was good and there was always room in the multiple pools and beaches. However, be aware that even with dinner included, drinks will be charged. A carafe of water costs 5€, which is quite a lot considering you can't really avoid drinking it. A small coke is 6€, which also seems too steep. There are no stores close by. We would not recommend this hotel as you can find a lot better options at Mauritius even with lower budget."
