Tule hiljattain remontoituun kotiin vain muutaman metrin päässä Chesapeakenlahdesta. Kauniita maisemia vedestä mistä tahansa kotona. Et voi päästä lähemmäs vettä sitten tämä! Avoin pohjaratkaisu ja tilavat huoneet keittiö ja saari baari, aurinko huone, 3 makuuhuonetta, 2 1/2 kylpyhuonetta, upea kannella Hot Tub! Täysin kalustettu ja vuodepaikkoja 8. Tämä kaunis koti veden äärellä on loistava paikka kalastukseen, lintujen tarkkailuun, Bald Eaglein havaintoihin ja pesimäalueisiin, rentoutumiseen, 10 minuutin päässä Koillis-Marylandista, jossa on runsaasti aktiviteetteja, ravintoloita, veneilyä, viihdettä ja paljon muuta. Varaa nyt kausittaiset päivähinnat (vähintään 2 yötä) tai kausittaiset viikoittaiset ja / tai kuukausittaiset hinnat. Tämä on TOIMITTAA pysyä rentoutumiseen veteen!

We do not recommend this property. We were not able to complete our stay as the property was not as the listing states. We were traveling with our children and pet. There were numerous safety concerns such as missing smoke detector and no water pressure so we could not shower, the master toilet that did not flush and multiple unusable features such as a sunken dock taped off with caution tape, an overall lack of cleanliness, stained furniture, dirty/inaccessible hot tub, weed-ridden firepit, bugs and wasps/bees making the outdoor space inaccessible. There were also a few things that aren't as guest-friendly such as beds you had to make yourself upon check in and you are requested to launder all of your towels and bedding prior to leaving. With a short stay and planned activities, the time to complete those requirements really can eat into the time you have to enjoy your stay.

The location next to the water is wonderful with beautiful sunrises and the hot tub is very nice. The house has plenty of space with expected amenities. Not a fan of the thick memory foam mattress toppers but know some people like those. Neighborhood is quiet and peaceful and the house is just 10-15 minute drive from town and Havre de Grace. The house was very clean but furniture upholstery could use a good cleaning. All in all it was a nice place and we would stay there again. It would be super fun in warmer weather.

This property looks amazing from the pictures however, the house needs some love. There are spiders and spiderwebs all over the inside of the house, mosquitoes coming out of the bathroom sink drains, and it needs a really good deep clean- as I scrubbed some walls and surfaces that were obviously dirty. Fun long weekend!

Great location! We loved the view , water access , and hot tub. The Tiki bar is a nice touch. The house is very bright and cheerful, with lots of natural light. The kitchen is well laid out, and we enjoyed cooking meals there. It’s a great house! We look forward to possibly returning sometime.

This property has a beautiful view … but that is all..

While having a picture us view this house was the single dirtiest VRBO I have ever stayed in. Dust bugs and cobwebs everywhere. Broken amenities, fire hazards, crappy dirty furniture, and a listing that was not exactly accurate. The house is short, one bed that it advertises that we badly needed. The stairs to the water and the decking with expose nails are both dangerous and unsightly. The inside of the house looks as though it had not been dusted or vacuumed for months and months. The water is so hard and rusty that all of our hair and skin smelled like rusty water after getting out of the shower. The outside of the house outback is infested with wasps. The inside of the house has wasps water bugs, and other undesirable critters. The furniture is all dirty stained and smells bad. The steps in and out of the house are all a tripping hazard and would not pass code with the building inspector. The view is beautiful once again and the property location is beautiful however this homeowner needs to seriously work harder to manage his property. It could be fabulous with some Care.

Kitchen is well stocked. The view of the Bay is great. Caught maybe 15 catfish off the pier over the course of a weekend, plus a white perch, a snapping turtle, plenty of bird watching, and even watched a beaver swim by.I wish there would've been a hose outback to hose and brush off the outdoor furniture and tiki bar every morning. A hose and brush back there would help make it a little more enjoyable/usable. And maybe a couple bug zappers :) The water in the house is very hard and smells/tastes of metal, not sure this can be helped, and we got used to it. Even in the hot tub, it's almost green, even though it was very heavily chlorinated. We still enjoyed it and warmed up in it as it was a rare chilly, rainy June weekend.Brian was very easy to work with, allowed us to check in an hour early, and was very quick to respond to questions. It may be time to replace the Queen mattress in the 2nd bedroom, as my 70 yr old parents, rolled to the center and felt stuck there.All in all, the house served us well, and we enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

I came for vacation, not to do housekeeping!

Pictures on the website are accurate. View is beautiful. Living area was very spacious.We sat on the deck early in the morning and late in the evening.Hot tub was nice.Check-in process was easy. Once inside the house, we were very surprised to find unmade beds with sheets on top that we needed to make, which after a 7 hour trip was not something I wanted to do.We were surprised to find that there were very few towels, especially with a hot tub and we were staying 3 nights. There were NO washcloths to be found. The towels were discolored, mis-matched and had some large stains on them. We decided to wash all of the towels before we used them.Be aware they do not supply bath soap, shampoo, conditioner or a hair dryer (although they did not say they had them on the listing, but they also did not say they DIDN’T supply them). They also only had 2 hand soaps at the sinks (for a 3 bathroom listing).The main bathroom did not even have a waste basket.I do not think the floors in the house had been vacuumed at all as there were actual piles of dirt. I did mention this to the owner and he did advise he would follow-up with the cleaners.The house had an abundance of cleaning products in every closet.I had to totally clean the entire coffee pot before use.The kitchen cabinets were also not very clean. It would have been nice to have some local recommendations.Then the request to wash and dry the sheets prior to leaving is beyond ridiculous. I wouldn’t book again.

House was beautiful location was great but overall dirty and not well stocked. No hand soap in any bathrooms, only 4 bath towels when there were 8 of us sleeping there. One bedroom didn't have a smoke detector. One bathroom toilet was completely clogged and broken upon arrival and we couldn't use the entire stay. Mouse poop was found through out the kitchen.

Severe Health Risks and Unsanitary Conditions

Upon arrival, we discovered severe toxic gas fumes in the property, which posed a significant health risk to my family. Despite assurances from the owner that the issue was resolved, the fumes were pervasive and hazardous. Prior to booking, I read in the reviews that there were gas fumes and I specifically inquired about the remediation of the gas fumes. The owner assured me multiple times that the issue had been fully resolved. However, this was not the case, and the property was not safe for occupancy and my daughter was sick from the conditions for multiple days.

Family getaway

The views and location are beautiful. The house needs TLC. The house is not clean. We understand that it is on the water and bugs can not be helped. However, the cobwebs and squished bugs all over the kitchen makes it undesirable to eat in. I am not sure if they are paying for professional cleaning but they should look for other caretakers. They also have limited linens. You have to make your own bed and wash the linens and towels before leaving. Read the reviews and believe them. I overlooked some of the reviews thinking they were taken care of. Other than location we would not rent this house again. Also, the landscaper came at 7:00 in the morning. It’s a little unacceptable while they have renters there.

The house was great for a quick get away for the weekend with some friends. Being on the water was a great spot. The water does get very shallow as the tide is low. I would recommend for a little get away with friends.

Awesome House, Relaxing Stay

Loved my long weekend. I found it so relaxing. House is awesome. Hot tub was such a plus. I brought an inflatable kayak. My niece and I got to enjoy being on the water, which added to the enjoyment. Highly recommend. We found ourselves spending a lot of time at the house! The host was very accommodating, too. Pet friendly, which I love. Hope to return. Think it would be a great place to stay with friends.

We totally enjoyed our stay. Check in easy. We were in Maryland for a wedding, Total family members 4 adults, 2 children and 1 dog perfect accommodations for all of us. We used the hot tub, best part fishing, my grandson caught a nice size cat fish after that we all caught sunnies. Hopefully we can visit again, we had an awesome time. Thank you!

Property Needs Work

I’ll start first with the positive. Location is great. Neighbors are very nice. View is lovely Now negative. A quick summary - the AC broke and it took several days to fix (it was 86 in the house), the house was quite dirty after the cleaning service left (fans filled with soot, furniture had stains and burns), there was an awful smell of home heating oil in the bedrooms which gave all of us headaches (seems a tank was removed and never properly cleaned up), the sewer backed upon the property, the pots/pans need to be replaced, We spoke with the owner and property manager several times and offered them quite a bit of patience while we were there to remedy the situation. Eventual things got fixed - frankly we left the house cleaner and nicer than we received it. Now a few weeks after we left and multiple attempts with contacting the owner to offer us some return compensation for our poor stay - pure silence... Hence this long review.
