”Lovely old pub in beautiful location, excellent breakfast, with home made preserves. The dinner menu looked very exciting but sadly we were dining elsewhere. Staff most helpful, carrying luggage and providing information. There is an onsite brewery! The night was extremely hot, so difficult to sleep, but very comfortable bed and well equipped room. The bathroom could have done with refurbishment to the tiling and taps, but was acceptable. There is a large parking area, by the river garden.”

”Our second stay at Moss Cottage and this time we were welcomed by Bill, Peter’s colleague (hello Peter!). This is a very homely place and the welcome is equally warm. The rooms are very clean with good sized en-suite bathrooms. Bill prepares home cooked breakfast at a time agreed so you know it isn’t food that’s been left on a hot plate for an hour beforehand!! Delicious, and freshly brewed coffee too. There is also off road car parking. It’s a fifteen minute stroll into town, bringing...

”Hotel is in a great location, opposite the park. It is very stylishly decorated and the breakfast was great. The downside was that it was during the hot weather and the room was extremely hot, even though there was a fan in it. The windows only opened a little, probably due to safety reasons. It was nicely decorated and the bed was comfortable. Parking was quite a way down the road, but we were given a pass, so not charged. The garden was nice to have an evening drink.”

”We had a very pleasant five-night-stay in the end of April 2019. We felt very much at home enjoying Liz´ and Dave´s kind, attentive and helpful service throughout our stay in every respect. Tidiness and service were of a high standard. Breakfast gets our ten points out of ten, always suiting our needs. For us everything in the town was within a convenient walking distance with attractive routes to choose from.”

”On arriving the property was very difficult to find and when l did find it my room was occupied by someone else. I was given the room next-door which was dark and unwelcoming. Neither the room or the surroundings were as advertised, photos were totally misleading. I was absolutely discussed by the level of cleanliness and left immediately finding myself having to find somewhere else to stay at 8.30 in the evening and £364 out of pocket. Will not be using Expedia ever again!!”

”This is my second visit (2025 and 2026) to the King's Head Inn. Suited my purpose very well. Clean and comfortable; good breakfast; good beer in the bar. Value for money. If I'm in Warwick at the same time next year I'll probably book here again.”
