”This is the best place to stay in the central city, especially if you want to walk around and enjoy the beauty of Malang. The property is in a quiet, lovely, neighborhood, but close enough to walk to car free day, the market at Oro-Oro Dowo, and the Malabar City Forest, as well as other places around Jalan Semeru. The rooms are spacious and super clean with beds with nice linens, the staff is always friendly and they treat guests with kindness.”

”The hotel sits atop Batu hill and which means it is quiet. Secondly, it is very close to downtown area and main road to Malang. The staff was courteous and professional.”

”Definitely the best value for your money. The room is quite spacious, ie, not squeeshy, like many hotels these days. Very clean, very well designed interior, it's catered more for the millenials (but I love it and I'm a Gen-X!), the room and the entire hotel is light and airy. Very friendly and helpful staff. If all fave hotels in Indonesia are like this one, I'd definitely stay in a fave hotel again whenever I'm in Indonesia. Highly recommended, 5 star for everything.”

”All was lovely. The staff were pleasant. Typical Javanese Breakfast of rice, noodles, tempeh and coffee was good. The room was nice and location was on a quite Street just off of Ijen with several local restaurants nearby. We were hoping to extend our stay for a week but the WiFi was nonexistent and we could not get cell service in the room. WiFi worked okay in the lobby just outside but because of this we found another hotel just around the corner.”
