”A friend and I stayed in this 2 bedroom/2 bathroom flat for a couple of weeks. It is very clean and has everything needed for light cooking. During the day, the neighborhood is quiet but comes alive in the evenings when everyone is outside for the passegiata. There are a number of bars to enjoy for your morning coffee or aperitivo in the evenings. A local favorite shop just around the corner, Antichi Sapori, has quality prosciutto, salume and cheeses. ”Lovely home, however, there were some issues. Almost every dish we pulled out was dirty and unfortunately we kept having to deal with ants by the front door area, where the garbage/recycling bins were. Communication with the host was ok. I didn't get responses to questions asked prior to arriving, which is bad form. ”

”Nous cherchions un maison avec le calme nécessaire pour se reposer et pas trop éloigné de Rome, cette villa a répondu à tous nos critères. Nous sommes arrivées un peu tard à la location pour la remise des clefs mais ils étaient tous de même disponible pour nous accueillir. Un panier pour le déjeuner et une bouteille de vin c’était le plus que nous n’avions pas refusé ! Merci pour tout !! Gracie mille !!”

”Very quiet, but very central location in the historic town center of Scanno. Nice, clean, cosy and still sufficiently spacious accommodation - everything available required for cooking and relaxing. Grocery stores, as well as hand-made cookie & noodle shops and many other shops just around the corner. Only instructions for waste disposal were not exactly comprehensive. We (family of 4) enjoyed staying in this house for two weeks, having a second home and a base for doing spectacular hiking...

The home itself is decorated beautifully and elegantly and the garden and surrounding grounds are so magical.
