”No amenities, no restaurant, no bar or bar options, pool not available(empty), ice machine not working, tub would fill up with water when having a shower, shower faucet was stiff and hard to operated. Extremely dated hotel. Cheap but too dated. Staff were polite but at check I was not asked how my stay was. Probably because they are used to getting rather brutal answers.”

”While it provided a decent enough shelter for an overnight stay, it is not recommended if you can help it. The condition of this place is deporable. The actual building is in need of repair. Missing ceiling tiles, exposed ventilation, musty room smells. Though we were able to change rooms at request, there was still stained furniture and long hairs in the shower of the new room. It is conveniently located if you are there for LU ceremonies, but the hwy noise pollution is a bit much overnight....

”I'm not the type to write a negative review but this place has definitely deteriorated in the past 4 years since last staying here and over the past twenty years of staying here off and on. I even remember when this hotel was originally built and opened. I felt concerned with my safety with some of the people staying here.. or actually living here in what seems long term. This place was rundown. The bathroom ceiling was dripping down water from above and I'm sure with the bubbling of the plaster...

”The staff is outstanding.. The halls and stuff are pretty rough, apparently theyre redoing it. .. but the rooms are nice clean and comfortable. I had 4 rooms there for 2 days.. God location theres seeral food options within 2 blocks and lynchburg is a mile away”

”The hotel did not charge a deposit to my credit card at check-in and allowed check-in after 3:00 p.m. The room was clean, and extra washcloths, towels, and tissues were provided upon request. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The side entrance did not work with the room key card after hours, which was inconvenient. The bed was comfortable, and the pillow was comfortable, although it was smaller than expected. There was a slight delay when using the TV remote control. The refrigerator...

”I booked this for my parents from CT, and I had always thought it was high quality(but I had never stayed there) so my thought was this is the best option for them. The blue paint they used in the pool came off and left blue stains on everyones feet (and my kids knees). The 4ft deep sign literally was a sticker peeling off and ended up just floating in the pool! The hotel room had an electric outlet hanging out of the wall, a pedestal sink with nowhere for mom to put her makeup bag, and AC...

Our stay last year was great.. this unit was more for a small person or kid.. our really only complaint was the toilet was so small height wise.. which is a task for ur elderly people.. and the picture of the unit was not what we got?? Other than that our stay was great”

”Older building. Front desk great! Shocked to find a nearly empty Modelo beer can fall out when I closed my blackout curtains at arrival. Found small orange cracker crumbs in desk seat. I checked in so late I didn’t bother notifying the mgmt. juice machine broken at breakfast. Had eggs, biscuits n gravy, waffles, yogurt, & cereal as options. (No sausage or bacon option)”
