Design-forward Lakeview retreat near Bay Harbor

Perched atop the Petoskey hills sits our beautifully renovated home, ShangriLodge, commanding a terrific view of the pristine blue waters of Little Traverse Bay. With every step from the front entry through the living and dining areas and from the spacious 38-foot deck, Lake Michigan’s serenity greets you. The upper level features a mediterranean coastal aesthetic inspired by our travels and heritage in Greece, including richly appointed master king bedrooms with full ensuites (one with private entry onto the deck). The lower level celebrates the historical maritime feel of northern Michigan’s west coast with an Up North lodge vibe, including the nautical King bedroom with handmade furniture and the Bunkroom, which combine to offer sleeping for six guests. Downstairs you’ll also find a classic game table, and family room with 65” TV and kitchenette, plus a patio with more seating to enjoy the lake view. In total, the house provides dedicated sleeping for ten people, all on new, fully organic mattresses with premium bamboo sheets.
Outside, a lighted stone pathway leads you to our new firepit with Adirondack seating and a tremendous view down the coast to the Petoskey lighthouse.

4-Wheel Drive is required in the winter months as Blackbird Rd is difficult to drive up.
Three minutes to the Village at Bay Harbor
Six minutes to Petoskey’s Gaslight District with its fabulous restaurants, stores, and Bayfront Park
Just 16 minutes down the coast to Charlevoix the Beautiful (a must day-trip)
Golfers and skiers can reach Both Boyne Highlands and Nubs Nob within 21 minutes.
