A charming vacation rental on the outskirts of Aubrac, near Lake Moulinet, where you’ll enjoy a warm and authentic atmosphere. Located near the owners’ home with a separate entrance onto a large south-facing terrace, you’ll enjoy the atmosphere of a family vacation home: a barbecue, patio furniture on a fenced-in 400m² lot with a pétanque court. For your comfort, we’ve furnished the living room with a sofa, TV, and wood-burning stove (wood provided); the kitchen (refrigerator, freezer, microwave, toaster) opens onto the living room; one bedroom with a 160-size double bed and one bedroom with two 90-size single beds; a bathroom, and a separate toilet. A laundry room with a washer and dryer is at your disposal. (Cribs and high chairs available upon request.) Pets are not allowed. (Except for service dogs). Couffinet is a charming little hamlet. It has always been a stopover village, even in the days of the stagecoaches, located on the Béziers-Clermont route. There used to be a stagecoach station and several wheelwrights’ workshops, traces of which still remain. Near the cottage, there are many activities to enjoy, such as: the Château de la Baume, the Monts d’Aubrac, the Wolves of Gévaudan, the European bison, and more. Starting from the cottage, there are numerous hikes and guided treasure hunts. New for 2024: Wi-Fi for TV (fiber optic), ideal for remote work. Supermarket 8 km away. In accordance with our guests’ preferences, the “linens rental” and “beds made upon arrival” services are optional and provided upon request. These services (if requested) are to be paid for upon arrival directly to the owner.
