”I have never had a better experience at a hotel. I did thorough research to find the right place and it did not disappoint. The owners are the kindest, most genuine people. The property clearly demonstrates the meticulous care as well as effort for their guests. It is clean, cozy, enchanting, private and unique. I am actually sad that I cannot stay a bit longer but I’ve already rebooked my next stay. Also, if you’re visiting for the arts or artistic performances, then this is your perfect spot....

”We booked this spot last-minute during an unexpected overnight layover in Philly and were so glad we did. The location in Old City was perfect—super walkable and felt very safe, even walking to grab a late-night Philly cheesesteak after 11pm on a Saturday. It was a little chilly, but still such a fun way to experience the neighborhood.

”Breakfast was not being served every day which was disappointing but great deli just across the street which took up the slack. My only critical remark is that there was only one desk-type chair in the room with two beds - so maybe more than one guest in the room requiring another chair? We could have asked and I'm sure they would have accommodated! They did bring in a small fridge at our request: no problem. Great spot: excellent little hotel! ”

”I’ve stayed in ton of 5 star hotels (Langham, Ritz, etc) but this is property is probably my favorite! I don’t love Philadelphia, but the Canopy has lovely, clean rooms, a great bar with amazing bartenders and a welcoming staff. I won’t stay anywhere else when visiting Philly from now on!”

”Reception staff were amazing, extremely friendly and helpful. Lovely property, very new. The only thing I could fault was an extremely noisy a/c fan. Would totally recommend staying here it’s in a great location and the coffee here is great and it’s locally roasted I’m told. ”

”We loved the "look" of the hotel, it's furniture and art work! Hotel was convenient to great restaurants and all the historical spots we wished to see. While parking is off site (and pricey--natch!), the lot was easy to locate and the discount via the hotel a plus. Loved the wine and cheese in the afternoon and give the staff extra stars for helping us deal with our towed car, medication that need refrigeration, and "stuff" that needed to be stowed after checking out but not leaving town.
