Guests have access to all areas of the property including the hiking path around the property. We do ask the you please be bear aware and treat the forest with respect while hiking.

During your stay, the entire property is exclusively yours to enjoy, providing utmost privacy and serenity. Please be aware that this cabin is only 600 square feet and can only accommodate small groups of 5 or less.

We love hosting small families at Granite Moose Hideaway! Please note that the home is not baby-proofed and is generally best suited for children ages 3 and up. Families with younger children are certainly welcome, but parents should be aware that the property requires close, hands-on supervision at all times, both inside and outside the home. Please use your own judgment when deciding if the property is a good fit for your family's needs.

Your own vehicle is necessary for getting to the property and for exploring Philipsburg. There are no taxis or driving services available in the area. It is highly recommended that you have a 4 wheel drive vehicle in the winter months, Montana weather is unpredictable and the roads can become icy or covered in snow. The road to the cabin is regularly plowed.

During the winter, our roads are regularly plowed, though 4WD/AWD is highly recommended in snowy or icy conditions.
Families are very welcome, however this property may not be the best for families with young children due to the loft stairs and rock garden off of the patio.
For guest safety and awareness, the property is equipped with an exterior Ring doorbell camera at the entry.
The loft stairs are narrow and steep and may be difficult for guests with limited mobility.
