”Minor issue with the cable box not turning on, but no big deal. Fair enough stay.”

”Had some delays at checkin. Room was not ready. Staff was young and unsure how to handle delay (laundry problem - they were waiting on clean fresh laundry) Person that came to room to make up the bed was apologetic. All staff were pleasant but seemed a little overwhelmed. Perhaps this is an isolated incident. The room was fine clean but a bit outdated. I would go back, there are not a lot of options right in Phillipsburgh. ”

”The Inn was a beautiful old home and extremely clean. The staff was super friendly. I would definitely come back again for a stay.”

”The room had everything I needed and the fitness room was sufficient to maintain my exercise routine. Water pressure was sub par and the tap water was cloudy- may be because the facility was a new construction and the dust has barely settled.”

”This is a delightful little hotel and Tab, the manager, is the absolute best. Our rooms were comfy, we got snacks, and check in and check out were super easy. Tab was there to make sure that we got everything we needed and even let me stay a bit late because I had to take a call at noon. Highly recommend this little gem.”

”This hotel is very pretty- the staff is very helpful as well. My only feedback would be that the housekeeping team never fully cleaned our room for 4 days. They would come in, do something, but never a full clean. It was pretty weird. They would take the trash, leave a few towels, but didn't make the bed or leave fresh mugs/glasses. ”Property is clean and quiet. Beautiful views of the mountains and they have a nice courtyard. Parking is free. There is also a shuttle to downtown. Overall it’s always a nice stay at the Penn Stater.”

”Good place to stay. Clean. Friendly staff. One coffee maker broken but they were calling a company to repair it. If at all possible I think there should be some overflow space for where breakfast is since on high volume times it is difficult to find a seat. Aldo that high table top is too difficult for the elderly to sit at. I would replace it with a regular seat 8 table.”

The room was very nice but no big tub. Desk clerk said management has known about it for at least 3 years and won’t get it fixed. Clerk did offer to move us if they had a jacuzzi suite available but it was late and we chose to stay where we were. After a day of driving the jacuzzi tub would’ve been nice Breakfast wasn’t much. ”The floors were dirty. The bathroom was nasty. There was what looked like BM on the wall, possibility of mold on the ceiling, and the bathtub needed to be replaced. I bought cleaning wipes and cleaned many of the bad spots including the floor. Because of an event in town all of the hotels were full. Plus side, the bed was comfortable.”
