”Loved it - convenient and nice”

”Road noise and apathetic staff, poorly appointed rooms added up to a lousy night of sleep.”

”Our room was on the second floor. My husband is disabled. Came to find out the owner had not maintained the elevator for 4 years because he’s too cheap to apply for inspection it has to be fixed. Room sleeps 3 and the bed had no blankets sheets or pillows. The very kind kitchen prepper( no staff on hand and no WiFi info) got us a blanket that had a bowling ball size hole right in the middle. The all paper was peeling on all walls and corners. Room 205. I had to make four trips up 2 flights with...

”We stayed in Room 14 which is a cute little cottage. Overall we loved our stay. Some things that stood out were the amazing staff. All so kind and patient. We especially enjoyed booking a room with a hot tub, maybe next time we’ll do a room with the sauna!”

”Our room was at the very back of the property. I would not have chosen the location if i had the choice. The room was not clean (dog slobber on sliding glass door) and dog hair on carpet. The furnishings 9ld and outdated, carpet was worn. ”

”Beautiful place! Clean, super charming. It was the perfect peaceful getaway for my husband and I. Close to town, beach, hiking, everything you need. Love that they text you for check in so it's super easy and you can easily contact someone if you need anything. We will definitely be back!”

”We stayed in the Point Cabrillo room. It had a great view of the Pacific across California 1. The view could be admird through the sliding glass door or from the small porch. The two double beds were adequate and the room was sufficiently roomy and very comfortable. The property is a bit worn, but is clean and functional. Onsite staff was very helpful. The location is quiet. The walls are a bit thin and we could tell our neighbors were talking, but it was not bad. The Wi-Fi could be improved....

”The room was clean and cozy, and we really appreciated having access to both a pool and a hot tub. The indoor pool was heated, which made it even better because we were able to enjoy some fun swimming. They also offered a complimentary breakfast with a good variety of options, including waffles, bagels, English muffins, cereal, oatmeal, eggs, and sausage. On top of that, the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Overall, we had a great experience and I would definitely book this hotel again.”

”Lovely location, easy to get around. Excellent breakfast with wonderful views. Fairly priced and safe. Beautiful gardens. Didn’t give a five as housekeeping less than attentive and room was not serviced. Had to ask for towels. But we would return and recommend as everything else was perfect.”

”Oh this place is beautiful. The main Lodge is a gorgeous building, full of fascinating books and accessories for sale. (Not to mention the sweetest cats). Stanford has the only indoor pool and hot tub for 100 miles. The restaurant was hot garbage, but Mendocino is chock full of wonderful places to eat.”

”Everything was wonderful. The room was spacious very clean. The beds were very comfortable and the pillars too. The view was amazing. The amenities were in abundance. We had a lot of fun.”
