It was the perfect respite for our stay before our puffin tour the next day and close to town for a concert on the common and restaurants. Note : to access one of the bedrooms you need to go through the bathroom, but it worked out fine. Dmitri was super communicative and was kind enough to let us know we left a pair of shoes there after we departed. ”Check in was easy. The kitchen was extremely well stocked down to a lobster pot to our delight.The setting is beautiful and we very much enjoyed the two level deck. There is a bit of a hike to get to the river. All and all a very peaceful relaxing location. We had 9 adults and 4 children and were very comfortable.”

”We stayed at the Compass Cove Cottage from September 15-21.The cottage is charming and cozy with a rustic coastal vibe. There is a large deck off the large living room overlooking a quiet and private cove where we enjoyed the sunshine in the mornings while working remotely, then once again for cocktails in the evenings. There is a dock to access the water by the provided canoe or kayaks with paddles and PFDs included. There's a fire pit to gather around in the evening. The hot water for showers...

”Perfect location overlooking the bay. Plenty of sleeping accommodations and areas to relax and socialize. The wrap around deck and furnishings were perfect to enjoy the outdoors. Thank you for your hospitality. ”

The kitchen is small but adequate; it does need some additional items to make it easier to prepare meals. I made some suggestions to the host. ”We had a great stay at Heron’s Perch! This house has lots of space for hanging out and sleeping. The beds are comfortable and clean. Plenty of towels provided and a well stocked kitchen. Our absolute favorite was the wonderful, private front porch. This house is within walking distance to everything down front on the island. If you’re looking for space and being close to the ferry, stores and beaches I would highly recommend.”

”This home was a gem nothing short of amazing the 360 views from any room were top notch.My only complaint is that the floors were very sandy/sticky/dirty, we swept and mopped shortly upon our arrival but this would not deter me from renting again and again. So comfortable & gorgeous. Do not even think about it BOOK IT ASAP. 10/10 would return. ”

”We really enjoyed our time at this cute 2 bedroom just minutes away from downtown Bath! The street was quiet, and the backyard was perfect for our 2 dogs.The place was very clean, and it felt like we were staying in a home, not a house. The host was very responsive.Overall 10/10. ”Nice house in a great location. It was wonderful to have a first floor bed and bath since we were traveling with my elderly parents. The location made it easy to walk or drive to Boothbay Harbor. The only minor issues we found were spotty wi-fi and the latch on the front screen door did not work properly. Would definitely stay here again!”
