My opinion might be slightly biased by paying off-season rates, but I was quite impressed. The room was spacious, comfortable, and nicely designed. The staff were all friendly and helpful (albeit I don’t tend to ask for much). Breakfast was decent and changed each of my three days, with a few constants like toast and coffee. And the pool on top was relaxing. Overall, I was expecting far less for what I paid.
Location-wise, the hotel is reasonably close to the national museum, and walkable (if you can stand the heat) to the Royal Palace, the genocide museum Tuol Sleng, and several temples. The back side is on a nice quiet little street, and I didn’t have trouble with traffic noise.
