”It just an okay stay. Our expectations were much higher after our similar or cheaper rate stays in Chiang Mai Hongkhao Village and Mora Boutique in Chiang Rai. The View as a hotel is beautifully designed but not maintained to standards.
Staff is not trained to take care of customers. The view from the roof top restaurant bar and restaurant is amazing but you cant relay only on that to win continued business. Service is subpar and food just okay.
The last thing that was super disappointing was...

”This resort is absolutely beautiful and the perfect place to unwind. If you’re looking for a peaceful and relaxing getaway, this is the place to be. The surroundings are quiet and serene, making it easy to disconnect and recharge.
The owner is incredibly kind and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and memorable. The staff were warm, welcoming, and always happy to help.
We were a group of 23 people, and every one of us had a wonderful experience. We highly recommend this...

”Aaah.. maybe my best guest solo traveller experience ever, the host clearly has a matchless sense of welcome. Always caring, but discreetly, she was always here but like a fairy you don’t see. The lodges are incredible! Actually, the whole property is! Excellent breakfast that changes everyday, ok for vegans as well, Suanmoon Cottage is a must do experience. Thank you. You made my Chiang Dao trip smooth and fantastic.”

”A very lovely place; the rooms are spacious and the view is beautiful. It is worth noting that you will need a vehicle once you are there—whether for sightseeing or dining out—as the hotel is in a remote location.”

”Chiang Dao Roundhouses was an absolutely lovely place to stay. The owner of the place was super-friendly and lovely person and gave great advice on what to do around. The roundhouse itself was amazing with a view to the mountains. It had a comfortable double bed and a private bathroom that was partly outside so that you could shower under the stars. The wow-factor of the room cannot be described, it must be experienced. The breakfast served was made from local ingredients and it was really...

”Very cool traditional big Thai resort. Amazing huge, rustic style, log cabin bungalows, in excellent condition, over looking ponds, beautiful grounds. Service was kind and friendly. Huge Buffet breakfast Western and Thai stuff. Only negative was the beds we're like concrete. They are set up for bus groups but welcome folks on their own too. Price is good for what you get..”

”First of all let’s start with the resort grounds, absolutely stunning. We started taking photos the second we pulled in and didn’t stop until we were pulling out. The mountain at the end of the property was breathtaking. It always seemed to take a different face. We could not get over the beautiful cloud formations at its peak. You could take beautiful photos pretty much anywhere on the property. The property was clean and clearly well taken care of. Every staff member we interacted...

”Beautiful resort in the middle of many elephant sanctuaries. We had a great pool villa. The pool is huge but they are not maintaining and cleaning the pool by the villas appropriately. There is not enough water in the pool by the villas. The upper pool is good. Location great for seeing elephants. The bikes were great to use. The lady working the front desk was always so helpful. We were charged for getting a bucket of ice. For being a 5 star resort … thus surprised us.”
