”Staff was accommodating and pleasant. The room was basic like an older Motel 6. The furniture was very old, but the TV was good and there was a small fridge in microwave which was convenient. Bathtub didn’t drain very well. The hotel employee who checked me in changed me to another room because I saw a big spider that crawled under my bed. I was actually glad to get a different room because they had just checked in a couple with three kids that kept slamming their door every couple of minutes....

”We had an amazing stay at Desert Flower Hotel! We stayed in Room 7, which included a private hot tub that was perfect for soaking in and relaxing after our adventurous days exploring Taos. ”The Inn is a nice older property in a great location in Taos, but it is in need of TLC. Our room itself was fine, but top came off one small table and the shower was designed in such a way that we soaked the mat each time. More importantly, our reception at the hotel was lukewarm; my call to the front desk to request help with the TV went unanswered; and, on my subsequent trip to the front desk, I was told that they didn't know how to work the new TV system. ”Used to be one of my favorite hotels anywhere, the Sagebrush was such a disappointment, i won’t be back, the place has fallen into a bad state of disrepair, from rotting, titling boards which caused a fall on the staircase, sheets with bloodstains, (laundered, it looked like stains that just don’t come out). The menu is greatly reduced and the food was terrible. Again, I’m not just an old nag, and for $200+ night i guess I expect clean sheets, some semblance of safety on staircases and walkways....
