”We stayed at the Spanish school. Beautiful buildings and amazing gardens. Great restaurants and bars within easy walking distance. They organised a taxi to take us and pick us up from the night tour we’d booked at Monteverde. Would definitely recommend staying here.”

”While the monkeys seemed overwhelming at first, they were fun to watch and not a problem. We loved the layout and the spacious rooms. We could find solitude while still enjoying family gathering space. Its location provides quick access to numerous activities from the Cloud Forest , to a waterfall hike, to zip lining, to breakfast at the bottom of the driveway, to coffee options to town. There are a lot of steps! ”

It was such a joy to sit on the verandas, enjoy a cool drink and soak in the fabulous views. Leticia was welcoming and a source for all things wonderful. ”My family of 7 stayed here for a couple of days & we all loved it!!! It's a beautiful home & the views were amazing!! We even had a sloth in the tree not far from the patio. All the bedrooms had AC the beds & pillows were comfortable so we slept really well. The pool room was a big hit with the kids!! The communication with the host was great so we highly recommend the property.”

”To stay here a car is the best way to go—it’s located on a lovely property a bit outside of Santa Elena proper—not walkable to the Cloud Forest and other things we wanted to do, although only a short drive to coffee tours and a nighttime wildlife tour. The house is beautiful in a very contemporary Latin American style. Nice pool, but it was a bit rainy when we were there and sun breaks did not correspond well with when we wanted a dip—but we can’t blame the hostess for that ”

The property manager was fantastic—very responsive and communicative every step of the way.
