”This is a motel, not a hotel, room doors open direct to the exterior, yes it is “historical”, but smells and feels of mold and mildew in the room, arrived after dark, hard to find how to get in gate, had to wait for bartender to check us in, bar looked neat, just a bunch of loud drunken men from some other Country. We weren’t impressed, thankfully wasnt there long, and it’s not in a nice part of town, but is fenced. The reviews and photos represent something much different, FYI”

”The receptionist had a thick India accent, which for me, was difficult to understand. Perhaps speaking a bit slower may have helped, but no fault of hers. It is what it is. Outside of that, the only annoyance was the shampoo being empty. The room was very clean, smelled fresh and comfortable. It was a bit disappointing to have just hard boiled eggs for breakfast. By that I mean no sausage or bacon or potatoes/hash browns. The usual juice, cereal, yogurt, and bagels where present but nothing...

”First, the staff is VERY FRIENDLY and helpful. The hotel is old and it’s in a small town. On the good side, they do offer breakfast, which is not indicated on the Expedia site or app. If you are wondering, yes, they have a waffle iron and batter. Our room had a very musty smell, as if a homeless person with musty clothes and body odor has been staying there. The mustiness was also coming out of the A/C unit. ”This property is giving Motel 6 vibes. When we arrived, our room didn’t have any toiletries, so we had to call the front desk The cleanliness was disappointing. The bedroom floor clearly hadn’t been cleaned properly—I noticed a sticky, clear substance between the bed and the nightstand that should have been obvious to housekeeping.
