Extremely disappointing stay! Would not recommend
Our stay at this cabin was one of the worst experiences we’ve had. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that basic amenities were not provided. There was no shampoo, handwash, or even laundry detergent available—not even travel-sized options. When we reached out to the management, they simply stated they don’t provide these items, forcing us to make a drive to town late at night to buy essentials.The problems didn’t stop there. The upstairs shower had extremely weak water pressure, making it almost impossible to take a proper shower or bathe our four-year-old. The toilet ran all night, creating an annoying noise, and an outdoor gate left open would slam loudly in the wind.The cleanliness of the cabin was shocking. The carpets upstairs and on the stairs were filthy, and everything was covered in dust—including the windows, curtains, and even the sheets, which appeared dingy and pale instead of clean white. To top it off, we found a large spiderweb in the main bathroom, adding to the sense of neglect.Adding insult to injury, the owners recommended we keep the temperature at 60F, even though it was 35F outside and the kids were freezing . They also left a note on the fridge warning us not to report insects because “it’s not uncommon to find them” in the cabin .This cabin was a nightmare from start to finish, and it nearly ruined our trip to Tennessee. We couldn’t wait to leave and will never stay here again. !!
