”Well about ten minutes after checking in there was definitely a domestic issue going on outside the door of our room in the hallway on the third floor that staff was aware of (per their self report of observing it on their facility cameras). You could hear them screaming on the first floor from the third floor. We asked about a refund to which we were told we have to attempt to get through Expedia and if we did then it would take several weeks to receive. They moved our room to the first floor...

”The Entire pool and hot tub area was shut down during our entire stay over the weekend. Had we known they were shut down we probably would've stayed elsewhere. The room bathroom had a drainage problem in the sink and had chunks of some kind of leftover strawberries in it. Kind of ridiculous all the way around.”

”We had such a relaxing evening and womderful morning because of the wonderful view and quietness. Staff was very friendly. The room seemed clean, the only issue was the toilet rim, it seems that bleach isn’t used on it. Overall, what a very nice place. ”

”This place is surrounded by nature. We wanted to stay in a quiet area. As we were getting out of the car on the hotel parking lot, it was so disappointing to hear the first train go by. Room was large and they tried to give us a room as far away from the train tracks, but it didn’t help. This is something you might want to be aware of.”

”On site restaurant and bar were convenient and very nice. Walkable to restaurants. Very close to Indiana Dunes. Good WiFi. Clean. Hot tub and pool missed the mark in my opinion. Pool was rather chilly and hot tub doesn’t have bubbles. Maintenance said the tub is a spa so doesn’t have to.”

”This was the second most best up place I’ve ever stayed at in the USA. No elevator and no rooms available on the first floor so my back hurts from carrying my super heavy suitcase up the stairs. It barely passed the test as somewhere I would sleep as it had clean sheets and most things appeared to be wiped down, but the floors (although uncarpeted which I greatly prefer as it avoids terrible odors etc)were pretty nasty with all kinds of smudges, scrapes, goobery stuff, the walls were...
