”This property has seen better days. I can see why people have liked it so much in the past, but it needs some redecoration to fix it up to it's former glory. It was clean enough, but everything from the bathroom to bedrooms and common areas could use some sprucing up. Service was quite good with staff offering assistance in Chinese and English, but the food and excursions are all overpriced. For a non-chinese speaking foreigner, I would definitely recommend this place because they will take care...

”Pros: the grounds are beautiful, the location is great and close to many natural sites, and our room was large. Cons: food was pretty bad, service was generally bad, HVAC in our room didn’t work well, and the staff didn’t speak much if any English.”

”Das Zimmer war sehr gemütlich und eine sehr gute Lage un Erholung und Natur zu genießen. Sehr sauber und die Host freundlich. Leider hat man dort keine große Auswahl beim Frühstück. Für ein Europäer wäre vielleicht ein Kaffee und etwas süßes zum Frühstück angebracht. Mehrere Tage hintereinander das gute traditionelle chinesisches Frühstück könnte ein bisschen zu monoton werden. Ansonsten hat alles meine Vorstellungen übertroffen. ”

”It’s a very nice boutique hotel. The room is clean, spacious and love the toilet with all the fancy stuff. The staff are friendly with a little English, but it’s not a problem. We can communicate using the google translate App. Location is in a quiet area, needs to take a taxi/Didi to go to a city centre. I highly recommend this hotel.”

”We really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is conveniently located between the Li river and the Sickle Bay. To the west, the pier is only a mile away, and the motor raft is easy to book to enjoy the magnificent waves rock scenery. To the east, the Sickle Bay, a world natural heritage site, is great for hiking to have the breathtaking overlooking on top. The hotel has the scenery nicely blended in. Whether you enjoy a nice dish at the restaurant, or just enjoy a book with a cup of tea at the tea...

”Great place near Yangshuo centre but outside the most noisy tourist areas. Renting bikes from the hotel to explore the surrounding area was really convenient. We really enjoyed our time here!”
