”Staff great. Good, easy breakfast. I mentioned to staff that I always feel safe there and the friendly lady at check out said "port police don't play!". I had never thought about that but I think she is correct! Safe place. ”

”I booked a surprise trip for my partners birthday from April16th-April20th. I booked a specific suite. I had been in communication with the staff/property well in advance letting them know how important this trip was. When we arrived we were placed in a room that I did not book. I immediately went back to the lobby and informed staff that there was a mistake and we were in wrong room. Staff reported they would reach out to manager but in the meantime there was not anything they could do…fast...

”Clean room. Breakfast was just okay. Waffles, scrambled eggs, sasuage, bananas, cereal and yogurt cups and mini muffins. They also had bread for toast, but no bagles. Parking is limited, but we were able to find a spot without a problem. I guess they also allow for cruise parking as well, if you stay there. Staff was friendly and the front desk was able to get us a few extra pillows as the ones on the beds were extremely thin/flat. Overall, a decent stay. I would stay there again in a pinch, but...

”Check in friendly & fast. This is a fairly new hotel about a block from the beach. We only stayed 1 night before our cruise. They offer cruise parking and a shuttle to port. We will definitely stay again for our next stay and our cruise out of Galveston”
