Vuoret ja niityt Turkin kynässä on täydellinen kohde nauttiaksesi perheen ja ystävien kanssa, varsinkin jos etsit yksityistä retriittiä. Järjestämme myös tapahtumia (erillinen maksu, täytyy varata, ei tapahtumia mökissä) tämän 250 hehtaarin turmeltumattoman kiinteistön pelloilla, joita ympäröi Pisgahin kansallismetsä. Purut, lampia, latoja ja häiriöttömiä yksityisiä vuoria tarjoavat rauhallisen, yksityisen taustan. Retkeily on saatavilla (erillinen maksu, täytyy varata). Vieraat voivat tuoda henkilökohtaiset hevosensa ratsastusta varten (erillinen maksu, täytyy varata). Kiinteistö rajoittuu mailia kansallisia metsäpolkuja. Leirintä- ja tapahtumamaksut ovat erillisiä, tiedustele hinnoittelusta

Mökki istuu kukkulan huipulla näkymällä laidunten kanssa hevosilla, vesipyörällä, kalastuslammikolla ja purolla. Istuessasi keinutuolissa tai heilauttamalla kuistilla, voit nauttia panoraamanäkymistä vuorille. Hiljaisuus tarjoaa rentouttavan ja rauhallisen loman.

Eristäytynyt 250 hehtaarin voimakkaasti metsäinen metsämme rajoittuu Pisgahin kansallismetsään. "Turkki kynä" -polku on kohta, missä alkuperäiskansojen yhdysvallat keräsivät kerran villit kalkkunat. Löytämme edelleen nuolenpäätä tänään, ja villien kalkkunoiden havainnot ovat säännöllisiä.

Osallistujana Pohjois-Carolinan hallinto-ohjelmaan olemme sitoutuneet suojelemaan villieläimiä ja parantamaan maata. Loman aikana näet monia lintulajeja, villi kalkkuna, peura ja muita villieläimiä.

Tarjoamme yksityisiä retkeilyreittejä, jotka sijaitsevat kansallismetsän vieressä. On myös Blue Ribbon -taimenvirtoja, joihin pääsee näiltä reiteiltä. Tuo oma hevonen, jos haluat. Tarjoamme erillisen laidun, jolla on virta hevosesi majoittamiseen. Emme kuitenkaan tarjoa suojaa tai pilttuja.

Great experience

Great location! An absolutely gorgeous house with plenty of space, privacy, and attractions. The fire pit was lovely, the horses roaming the acres were friendly, and the view of the valley and countryside were phenomenal.We definitely appreciated how secluded the location was, as well as how well maintained and clean the house was.Thank you very much for this experience!

Idyllic property in a fantastic location!

We had a wonderful stay during our week of Spring Break. The property is absolutely gorgeous and is in a fantastic location. The view from the back porch swing is picturesque...horses trotting around the pond, turkeys cruising by in a line, white squirrels running through the yard, creek babbling nearby. Peaceful is the word I would use to best describe it.The cabin itself was well-stocked and clean. The master bed had a memory foam mattress and was extremely comfortable. Our teen daughters didn't have any problems sleeping.Internet was a little bit ponderous at times, but that's not why we were there...so no big deal to us! We didn't have any trouble watching a Netflix movie in the living room though.Brevard, Asheville, Hendersonville, Dupont, and Pisgah, are all within a relatively short drive. There are tons of things to do in the area. We would definitely return and we will certainly recommend this gorgeous property to our friends. Thank you very much to the owners for sharing your incredible property with us!

Cute cabin

The cabin overall was nice but the listing stated that the upstairs had window units but I did not see any and it was hot upstairs. Also, the stink bugs were too much for me. I slept on the couch as they were bad upstairs. I understand that this is a cabin out in the woods but I was not prepared. The place was beautiful and peaceful and had everything that we needed for the night.

Loved it!

We had a great time. Enjoyed the cabin, scenery, fire pit, woods, horses, and the calmness of the area. Lots of stores close by and Asheville was about 45 minutes away. Lots of hiking and wilderness things to do about 15 minutes away. Host was very responsive and property was awesome!

Beautiful and relaxing

Our family stayed here for a week during the holidays, and it was just exactly what we were hoping for: a peaceful, relaxing getaway at a nice cabin in the mountains. The cabin had plenty of room for the four of us, and provided everything we needed to be comfortable. The surroundings are absolutely beautiful (even better than the photos), and it was so nice to wake up to that view each morning. The trail hikes were a great way to get out, get a little exercise, and soak up the scenery without having to leave the property. But the cabin is also conveniently located near Brevard, Hendersonville, and Asheville, as well as many great hiking opportunities in the area if you do want to venture off the property (which you may not want to!).The hosts were super responsive and helpful, and our stay was just perfect. We hope to return soon!

very beautiful quiet property

We are a Florida family of 8, 7 adults and 1 teen, staying at Pisgah Forest to attend the Jump Off Rock mountain wedding of another family member from Ohio. In spite of the hurricane issues, this property was beautiful and the quietness was so refreshing. The fire pit area was a favorite since we are a hot dog, smore's camping family. Thank you to the host for all the kindness shown us.

Cute Cabin in the woods

Location was excellent. Nestled into the woods of the mountain, it was secluded and quiet. B However, we were still 10 minutes from Brevard and able to quickly be in town. The cabin itself is adorable. Was able to watch every sunrise from the front porch and it was like looking at a puzzle. It was perfect. The beds are a little soft but overall we slept well. We did have to continually vacuum ladybugs before bed that would get into the cabin but nothing dangerous or too crazy. The toddler enjoyed catching them inside. The host was kind and answered all of our questions. Also quick to respond and we were never left hanging. The listing says there is a catch-and-release pond, but the only pond on the property had a sign designating it as a water fowl habit and no fishing was allowed. If we were staying longer, we would've asked for clarification, but didn't impact our trip this time. Overall, this was a great find and we would love to stay again the next time we're in Brevard. Hopefully for longer next time!

Great location

Easy access to Brevard, Asheville, and trails. We enjoyed our stay. The cabin had everything that we needed. The kitchen is well equipped. Although there are 3 bedrooms, the cabin is more suited for 2 couples, or 2 couples and children because of the layout of the upstairs. People in one bedroom have to go into the other bedroom in order to get to the bathroom. Also from the downstairs bedroom, one has to go through the kitchen and the living room to get to the bathroom. The owner was helpful and responsive.

Peaceful, quant, and beautiful cabin in the country

Absolutely loved the cabin and the scenery! We loved just sitting on the back porch and looking out over the property. Honestly wished our stay was longer so we could venture out on the hiking trails that are on the property. Our kids enjoyed fishing at the pond and saying hello to the horses that roam the property. The cabin was so nice and charming. Just an overall great place to unwind and unplug. Would definitely come back!

Amazing spot in the forest

I came in late at night, so I wasn’t able to see the beautiful views surrounding the cabin till the next morning. We couldn’t believe the scenery right outside the door, as well as everything the property had to offer. This is a fantastic rental, already saved in my “favorites” that I need to visit again in the future.

Overall great place to stay

The cabin was rustic but comfortable. The property was beautiful! The only issue was the frequency of the owners or maintenance staff (?) coming and going, including early in the morning. We’re early risers anyway, but it seemed like a lot of back and forth to some shed or building behind the cabin.
