”What’s not to like!! The hosts, Jane and Calum, are friendly and welcoming. We felt like we were staying with family. Our room was spacious, well decorated and comfortable. We were within easy walking distance from restaurants and shopping. The breakfast menu gave options to please any palate. The porridge was creamy and delicious. We truly enjoyed our stay!!”

”We ended up in twin room as no doubles left…. Comfortable beds, ground floor was quiet. Ate dinner in evening in restaurant it was Indian cuisine and was so delicious. Staff lovely very knowledgeable about food and helped with choices. Breakfast was equally tasty, freshly cooked and piping hot. Would definitely like to stay here again. Thanks ”

”The Maclean Guest House was in a very convenient spot within Fort William. It was an easy walk to get to the main commercial street, yet far enough away to have easy parking. The facilities were very nice. The only negative is that the hot water in the showers did not work for more than one minute in either room my group booked. ”

”What a gem of a property. We really enjoyed our stay, and the host and his sister were super welcoming and helpful. It felt like we were visiting relatives. Each morning we had fresh breakfeast which was made fresh for us to our liking using locally sourced ingredients. We will definatley be coming back.”

”Although this property is small, the people running it are big hearted. We were driving from Isle of Skye on a very stormy day when we received message from Mark and Louisa to inform us that we could checkin earlier as they did not want us to be waiting in the storm until checkin time. We were quite touched by the gesture. The free parking was very convenient. The room was clean and well decorated. The toilet + shower were modern and comfortable. Excellent breakfast with homemade everything....
