My son and I had reserved a room for 2 beds via Expedia for this past Saturday and Sunday night, months ago. We arrived at 1 AM on Sunday morning after driving from Cleveland. I was told that they overbooked and I didn't have a room. The woman at the desk (who was extremely nice and helpful, as were all of the staff) figured out a way to clear a room that wasn't originally available. She said that one of the AC units wasn't working. We needed a room, so we grabbed it to get some sleep. The room didn't have any AC working. It was so humid, the entire floor was wet and remained wet throughout the night, AND there was only 1 bed. My son had to sleep on the couch. He is not a little boy. In the morning, I asked to be moved to another room if one had become available. The young lady said that it was still early, but that shouldn't be any problem. She took my cell phone number and said the manager would contact me to square it away. It is almost 7 PM on Tuesday, and the manager hasn't called me yet. After my son and I went to the Pirates game, I went back to the front desk to see if there was an update. The young lady there knew nothing of the situation, but courteously switched us to another room. That room had two beds and a working AC unit. Unfortunately, the AC unit sounded like an alien invasion. We had to increase the volume on the TV just to drown out some of the racket. The shower also drained EXTREMELY slowly.
