âSarlat is a beautiful city, and La Villa des Consuls is an equally beautiful hotel. It has everything: wonderful/helpful staff, brilliant location, excellent service, and great breakfast. Staying at La Villa des Consuls made our visit to Sarlat and the surrounding area memorable. â
âThe property is in a great location. Itâs clean, safe and quiet and has air conditioning. It is located in old town and just steps from the Central Square. The owners were great to work with. We had a room refresh in our extended. Stay in the cleaners. Did a great job. We also extended our stay last minute and they were able to rearrange rooms so we didnât have to move. We would definitely recommend this property.. â
âExcellent small hotel right in the middle of the charming town of Sarlat. Literally two dozen restaurants, many of them excellent, within a 10-minute walk. Friendly and helpful staff. I highly recommend.
Two things to note, without detracting from the above: street parking is metered during the day, and the optional parking garage spot (5-minute walk) must be reserved in advance and costs extra; and there is no laundry service (there's a laundromat not very far).â

âLovely quiet location looking over the valley. Unfortunately, it was very wet so we werenât able to enjoy sitting outside on the terrace which looked a wonderful space. Very crazy to drive down into Sarlat.â
