The hammocks, floaties, beach towels make this a great base in Placencia Village. Mae was very communicative and provided a detailed and accurate orientation package , with easy checkin and great directions , with numerous recommendations for local eats ....

”We had 10 friends for a birthday gathering and these units were perfect. The two units are connected by balcony and can sleep 12 people. Having two kitchens was perfect! The host met us at checkin and gave us a run down of facility and the best places to eat. We were about 7 miles from downtown Placencia so the resort was nice and quiet. The pool was perfect as well as swimming off the private dock. Beach was well manicured with corn hole and volleyball. Kayaks and bikes were available for use....

”This property was better than I anticipated. AC worked wonderfully and had a ceiling fan if you prefer outside air. It was clean and had everything you would expect for a hotel in the states for those of us who are used to such amenities as a coffee maker, with all the accoutrements. A small fridge and plenty is space to unpack for an extended stay. Close to the beach, shops and great places to eat and enjoy night life! ”Super convenient to walk to restaurants, grocery store and shops. Office staff was awesome, could not have been more nice. Just two old ladies traveling who were taken care of and felt very safe. The beach is close and beautiful!”

”This property is managed by Vacasa and it's a nuisanse. When you're traveling you'd appreciate having all the information in one source. Unfortunately, in this case VRBO site merely redirects you elsewhere which is often inconvenient. The house was as e+xpected although we were unlucky to have a bit of surf that rendered the water totally murky. The locals recommended agains swimming because of the stingrays common in the area and danger of stepping on one when hothing can be seen. We still...

”What an amazing place right on the beach. We were the only ones stay at the beach property. Loved the lounge chairs, hammock, kayaks. Had communication problems with the property manager at times. No one around upon arrival and no instructions for wifi and TV. He did make arrangements for private snorkeling and fishing tours. The place does not have a hot tub as listed in amenities. The location is ideal at the quiet end of the sidewalk.”
