”We stayed in a nice, large room. It has two sink areas, a large closet for hanging clothes, couch with table & lamp, useful dresser/desk/tv combo. The art is nice. It has plenty of space but is utilitarian. One comfy arm chair and an area rug on the floor would make it cozy. It snowed overnight and the outdoor stairs to the second floor had significant snow on them. It would be safer for the staff to keep those clear of snow.”

”After calling and verifying that our room would be fine and we could get there after 8 o’clock. The man told us that our room was given away, which was two queen mattresses handed to a key to go see if a room with a king would fit. Once seeing the room found out it was a double bed. Went back to ask for what we had originally paid for and he said he couldn’t do that. He had to charge us $11 more a day for two double bed rooms. ”Nice place to stay”

”The front desk phone was broken! Any problems required me to go to the office in person, so I went down twice.Because the light and heat switches in the room were difficult to identify; the heat switch looked broken, without a casing. The door to the room had large gaps, and I was worried that bugs from outside would get inside. After one night, I found I had been bitten by bugs. Horrible experience!”

”We loved the Cary House. It's an old historic hotel, gorgeous lobby, furnished with period furniture, and an amazing old elevator. If you're into more modern and up to date furnishings and rooms, stay somewhere else. The people that work here are awesome. We'll be going back!”

”We stay here every year for a local event. The bathrooms have been updated with nice tile and a selection of pillows on a comfortable bed. It’s nice to have a mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker in each room. The owners are very nice and always a pleasure to see. It is an older motel so expect new and old amenities. It is comfortable and convenient. Will absolutely stay again.”

”My feedback is constructive criticism because I want the place to stay open! We love the inn! The older lady at front desk really struggled with basic communication. We were asked THREE times if we were part of a group checking in. We weren't. She scowled at me when I asked when wine and cheese was served and said "oh, you want wine??? ”Desk Staff is beyond great. Only advice for them to pay attention to detail. Second visit. Same room 3 months apart. Missing bathroom fan conver. Cracked electrical inlet cover in entry. Seems small but i belive this could be a destination hotel because of location. The restaurant that is next door is also amazing. I was kinda caught off guard by how awesome this place was. BEST STAFF EVER. Food amazing. All said I give a %100 percent score.”
