Pieni Gasparilla -saari ei ole rento turisti. Mutta jos olet tosissaan lomasta (jos olet valmis irrottamaan pistorasian, käydä mielekästä keskustelua ja tutkimaan mitä Floridan luonnollisella alueella on tarjota), tämä on sinulle sopiva paikka. "Bay House" sijaitsee aivan Don Pedron saaren Blueway-kajakkireitillä. Se on kokopäiväinen asuinpaikka, mutta olemme muuttaneet sen vuokraksi viettäessämme aikaa matkustamiseen tänä vuonna. Wonderful!

Best property in all of Little Gasparilla Island. Definitely plan on staying here again. The grounds were beautiful, the house was just what we needed, well stocked, and relaxing!

The house, amenities, and communication from the owners was amazing. The location on the island in our opinion is the best, and we have stayed on gasparilla Island many other times. Traveling with 3 siblings, spouses and Mom we were pleased with the separate spaces and large dining table, as well as outdoor spaces to spend time together. We will be back to this location again and again.

Island time

This is a great well thought out property on a very special island. The big bay house with its surrounding screened porches and its crow nest view from up high provide great opportunities to enjoy the outdoors in comfort with others or quiet time by yourself. Great vacation getaway. Sunrises, sunsets, shelling, fishing, boating, etc. The grill cabana area is great for grilling the catch of the day. The dock was great for our little boat. The grounds and boardwalk to the beach were perfect. Rebecca was very responsive and helpful in making our stay great.

Heaven on Little Gasparilla

Our rental had everything we could wish for. The house is right next to the bay, overlooking the mangroves, all the beautiful birds, and wildlife too! The gulf was only a few minutes walk.Everyone in our group enjoyed the house. We slept in the upstairs room which has its own deck. From there we could watch the sunrise over the bay, and the sunset on the gulf.. It was peaceful and absolutely Beautiful!Pack your favorite foods, drinks and snacks. We found everything else that we needed in the well-stocked kitchen.We highly recommend this location for anyone wanting to get away from it all.

Wonderful Family Vacation

We had an outstanding time at the Bay House. My wife, 4 children (6 months-8 y/o) and a friend had such a relaxing time on the property. The house is beautiful, and has a very "old Florida" feel to it. The property was very well taken care of and it was such a relief to have things like beach toys, umbrellas, chairs, fishing poles, etc, all provided so we didn't have to lug a bunch of stuff down. I can't say enough good things about Rebecca and Andrew and their communication and kindness. They are truly outstanding hosts with a very unique property.

Great time on Little Gasparilla!

We had a great time staying at Andy and Rebecca’s bay house. It was clean and even better than depicted from the photos. This is a great location with Don Pedro State Park just to the north so the beach was always quiet and peaceful. The property is beautiful, stretching from the Intercoastal to the gulf. We rented a pontoon for fishing and transportation had room to park at Dock #1. The few times we needed anything from Andy he was quick to respond and enjoyed meeting him during our stay. We hope to come back some day in the future!

Family Summer Trip close to home

We enjoyed our stay at the Bay House. It is a lovely home with beautiful views and grounds. The house is well-supplied with just about anything you could possibly need. We made use of the kayaks and paddle board to explore the intercoastal waterway. The beach was lovely for sitting and relaxing or taking long walks. We rented a boat for the week which made getting around much easier. Everyone in the family enjoyed fishing off the docks and at the beach. If you are from outside Florida please know that the mosquitos and heat are quite intense in Florida in July!

Slice of Paradise on LGI

We rented this property for our annual family vacation and I cannot say enough about the house, the property and location on the island. From great kayaking to a private walkway to the beach, this house has everything. The common area amenities were fantastic - especially the covered patio and grill area with tons of seating and fans to stay cool. The house was completely stocked and very comfortable. The owners checked in on us when tropical storm Elsa was approaching and were very responsive in their communications. I would highly recommend this property and look forward to returning.

Amazing island location

If you want to get away, you can't do much better than this. The water taxi service made it easy to get in and off the island. The house is fantastic and the property is amazing. If you like the calm water of the harbor, you have it. If you like the crashing waves of the beach, you have that too. Such a unique property with so many available amenities, I would love to go back again.

Best trip ever

Our family of 5 (kids ages 5, 9 & 12) stayed at Osprey Point for the week. We all agree that it has been our best trip thus far! We took our flats skiff with us. Weather was good so we used that to get ourselves & things to the house. It is about a 10 minute ride from Eldred’s Marina. The house has everything you’d need. Kitchen is very well stocked & there is more than enough room. Most enjoyed family dinners on the porch, reading on the other porch mornings & evenings, fishing & kayaking bayside & spending time on the beach. The home has a beautiful bay view & is an easy couple minute walk to the beach. Don Pedro State Park is to the immediate north - nice to explore by water & land. Although the rest of the island is fairly congested, this property is very quiet & secluded with beautiful views! We would definitely return if the opportunity arises!

Fantastic property- everything they described and more!

What an amazing place! We used both the bayside and the beachside everyday. The house was beautiful, clean and had everything we needed. There were no "I wish they had a..." moments, because they have thought of everything. I enjoyed peaceful mornings on the porch with my coffee while my family went out fishing on the boat we rented. The smoothie bar outside was super handy after a run or long walk on the beach. Pulling into and out of the dock was a bit hairy as it is really shallow- it isn't something a novice boat-person should tackle, but we (ok, my husband) had it figured out pretty quickly, so it shouldn't be a barrier. We loved having access to the kayaks- it was really fun to explore the bay. Just a great place and the location next to the state park was great too- so quiet! We got pizza one night- the delivery was easy and it was tasty. We also went to Boca Grande for lunch at the Eagle Grille/Miller's Dockside one day and we would recommend that, too. You can't go wrong with staying here.

Don’t hesitate to book

As soon as you pull up to this property you’ll know you have found a little piece of Heaven. The views are amazing, the property spacious, and the amenities endless. The property is in a quiet, remote area and there is plenty to keep you and your family busy. Kayaking, fishing, hiking, shelling, just to name a few. We did order delicious handmade pizza from One-eyed Willies, but order early, they sell out quickly. Otherwise, you will need to bring your groceries with you. This property has everything you need to prepare your favorite recipes. I could go on and on about how special this property is but you need to book it and experience it yourself.

Fantastic Home & Great Owners

On the North end of this Island, Gasparilla Getaways offered a complete paradise for my family who all had different interests. From fishing off the bay doc to taking a short walk to the beautiful beach, we all thoroughly enjoyed our time and the owner was very attentive and easily reachable. Hope to be back soon!!

Thin slice of heaven

I couldn't of imagined a better place to be quarantined :). Most days we kayaked at sunrise, drank our coffee and smoothies on the porch when we got back, then headed to the beach before heading back. The BBQ area has brand new furniture and has all the utensils and spices you would ever need. The only downside about this property was having to leave. We will be back :)

Beyond Perfect Bayside Experience

The Bay House runs true to description-- It has everything you could possibly want or need during your vacation and MORE! The accommodations are immaculate and the bay views are pristine. Enjoy all the beauty the island has to offer from the spacious wrap around porch, the cush chairs in the gazebo or the completely private and peaceful dock. Spend all day relaxing on the beach via a private access boardwalk or stay home and unwind bayside. Come back to the welcoming house, fix yourself a smoothie at the convenient outdoor coffee and smoothie bar and retire indoors to enjoy a rejuvenating night of rest in the most comfortable beds. The property is clean, well-maintained and decorated to perfection. You will never run out of fun things to do with the fishing gear, kayaks and SUP boards just a few steps away from the house! The nearby bayside gazebo has everything you need to grill out and eat outside with festive lighting and ceiling fans for a cool breeze. To top off the ideal experience, the owners and property managers are extremely friendly and accommodating. I cannot recommend the Bay House property enough!

Gasparilla Getaways just might be the most spectacular place on earth. It’s private location, nudging up to a native Florida flora and fauna state park is serene and indescribable! We had the perfect place for a perfect reunion!

Dreamy Summertime Getaway

I've been coming to Little Gasparilla for more than fifteen years and this property is by far the best on the island. Tucked back near the state park, it is private and quiet with amazing views. The beach access, indoor and outdoor spaces, and ammenities (kayaks, porches etc.) are unmatched. The indoor space is decorated beautifully, and was clean and organized upon arrival. The owners have thought of everything, and every space available for use is designed for both beauty and efficiency. We didn't end up spending much time on the beach because of weather, but with all the screened porches, covered sitting areas, and eagles nest view upstairs, none of us were sad about this. We had a large party and had no difficulty with space, and the outdoor eating areas and kitchen were perfect for group meals. No matter what the weather or time of year, this home is the PERFECT getaway - we will definitely be coming back to this location any time we are at LGI.
