”We weren’t told how bad the road to enter was. Dirt, broken cobblestones, large mud puddles and deep ruts. Most places room for only one car. Took 20 minutes to go 2 miles. Wi-Fi is always going out so if someone wants to work, good luck. We were told someone would meet us at the gate. When we finally got to the gate it was deserted. Could not get a call to go through. Finally a car approached and led us to the resort which was a ways down. We, of course, had no idea it was there. Very poor...

”This villa is a dream come true. We loved the clean and comfortable rooms, we swam a lot in both the lap pool and family pool, and loved the local home cooking from housekeeper Maria. And don't forget your binoculars if you’re a birder, theres dozens of specues right on the grounds, plus a beach and estuary. Really an amazing place. And great communication with the owner John.”

”We had an absolutely wonderful, peaceful stay at Casa Karina. It was the perfect size for me, my partner and our two young adult/teen sons. We loved hanging out on the patio, taking turns in the hammock and watching the ocean and pelicans flying overhead. Going to sleep in comfortable beds while listening to the waves. Kitchen supplies were ample. The property manager, Jenny, was very responsive to all of our concerns and communications. Aticama is a charming village with many great restaurants...
