”We arrived at The Admiral ready for a relaxing weekend, but our original room had apparently been auditioning to become a sauna. Despite everyone's best efforts, the temperature refused to cooperate, and both we and our dogs were melting faster than ice cream in July.
The staff was fantastic. While we camped out in the lobby trying to avoid spontaneous combustion, they worked to find a solution and ultimately moved us from the 11th floor to Room 203 on the second floor. As it turned out, this...

”Very nice old house with beautiful details. This place not suitable for people with moving disabilities because of steep stairs.
Our room was located closest to the motorway so the noise of heavy traffic kept us awake at night. If you want a good night sleep ask fir a room somewhere futher away from that road.
Walking distance to the city.
Note that breakfast in the bistro is not totally free. ”

”We arrived in the morning via the train. We were allowed to leave our bags at the hotel until our rooms were ready. We went adventuring in the city. Within an hour, the hotel called to say our room was ready. Well before check in. The room was spacious, clean and cool. Highly recommend.”

”Upon check-in, we did not get the 2 room types we reserved which were 2 queens in each and to compromise, we were given a 3rd room. But all rooms were single bed with pullout bed and not close to each other. This required my family to completely split up and wife and I to separate along with the kids. This caused a big inconvenience as we share toiletries, food, etc.”
