”OMG this was horrible. Booked the Smart Choice Inn on Expedia. On arrival, found this is no longer a Smart Choice Inn, the sign says Rodeway. Clerk said we could get a room but we'd have to pay them as they are under new ownership and don't have access to the Expedia account. We were tired and needed to get off the road, so we did, even though the place is filthy and run down. The bed had a crackly plastic covered mattress and ill fitting sheets, so we ended up sleeping on the plastic and...

”Amazing accommodations with small caveats. Location is unique and comes with nearby horses. Very relaxing, quiet, and clean. Has all necessary amenities. Perfect for a roadtrip stop. Air conditioning was equal to a normal hotel room. If you’re looking for a modern rustic themed stay you will not be disappointed! Small caveats: The doors are not secure which can be unsettling but you are remote and on private property. No hand soap but dish soap was available. The main bed could have a thicker...

”We found bed bugs. The manager offered another room but this place was so run down, we left and had to drive 50 minutes away to find another hotel at 12:30 am. The blinds on the window facing the Main Street were in terrible shape. I had to improvise with a bath towel to keep people from seeing right in our room. There is a large hole in the floor that was carpeted over. Unbelievable to me that VRBO would accept this property! Very disappointed! ”

”We stayed here during a stretch of extreme heat, and unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing. While the basic housekeeping seemed okay and the motel has an older, rustic charm, the room's air conditioner was completely unable to cool the space—to the point where it was actually warmer inside the room than it was outside. Because the room was not comfortable or safe for a full night's sleep, we had to leave in the middle of the night and find alternative accommodations, ending up...
