”This was a pretty standard hotel. The bathroom had been remodeled but appeared to be unfinished. There were refillable dispensers for body wash, shampoo and conditioner in the shower. The bed was comfortable and the room clean. The breakfast was pretty standard. There was a waffle machine, biscuits, sausage and gravy and numerous breads. No fresh fruit. Coffee, tea and juice. OK for one night while traveling”

”The owners were excellent! They know so much about the area and are full of wonderful stories. Would love to hear more of them sometime. My dog and I stayed one night and had everything we needed. Bed was very comfortable, and it was a nice quiet location with plenty of grassy areas to walk my dog around. Really nice to have the full fridge and freezer available in the separate full kitchen to store my food items. A lot of interesting memorabilia and photos in the house as well.
A few things...

”A bit dated but very nice. The staff were great and we had a very nice stay. Just a few small things were noticed. Faucet needed repair as did the toilet. We would stay again perhaps”

”Beautiful hotel room behind the check-in desk in the general store. It was a decent sized room, fairly clean and good amenities with plenty of things to do around the property. Plenty for any range of guests from single visitors to full families. You can stay in a hotel room, a camper or rv you bring, a literal cabin, or even camping in a tent. There's fishing ponds, playgrounds, pool, outdoor sports, an outdoor theatre etc. and the general store is well stocked with anything you might need for...

”Unfortunately, our experience at The Elms did not live up to the expectations or the price we paid for our 3-night stay. Given the premium rates, especially for a busy weekend, we expected a higher standard of cleanliness, comfort, & attention to detail. Upon arriving late at night, I got into bed only to discover what appeared to be a blood stain on the bedding right my eye level. The bed also did not have a proper duvet cover, just an insert covered by sheets, which was disappointing for a...
