Independent – Pleasure Island, Port Arthur

”You can tell this is an older hotel but there is a nostalgic feeling about that I actually enjoyed. I really wished we could’ve experienced the little resort style pool and cabanas but it was already closed for the season. It was quiet and comfortable and I think it’s the best “fancy” hotel you could probably get in Beaumont haha”

”This was my second time here first time i had a room that smelled like it had pets in it ,had a pet oder, this time was pretty good clean and comfortable. ”

”The lady was so sweet and happy to check me in. Tell me about the area. The room was clean just on small tube of shampoo and 1 small bar soap. The ac was not working. The bed seemed small for 1 person. Ice machine and snack machine was pretty much empty. ”
