Gîte on osa muinaista Manoir de la Boissière -kauppaa ja sijaitsee omistajien omaisuuden vieressä. Alakerran olohuone on kooltaan noin 45 neliömetriä ja siinä on mukavat istuimet kuudelle taulu-satelliitti-TV: llä, DVD-soittimella, CD-soittimella ja BOSE-äänitelakalla iPodiin. Siellä on laajakaistayhteys WiFi .. Varustettu keittiö on täysin varustettu, kuten sähköuuni ja keraaminen liesi, iso jääkaappi / pakastin, mikroaaltouuni, astianpesukone ja erittäin hiljainen Mielen pesukone. Puulämmittimen lisäksi lämmitystä tarjoaa kaksi sähkölämmitintä. Keittiön kaapit tarjoavat paljon säilytystilaa ja pesualtaan vedenlämmitin tarjoaa välitöntä kuumaa vettä. Saatavana on valikoima lautapelejä.

Yläkerrassa päämakuuhuoneessa on super king-size (s. 6 jalkaa leveä) sänky, jossa yöpöydät, vaatekaappi ja kaksi lipastoa; toisessa makuuhuoneessa on erilliset vuoteet, lipasto ja yöpöytä. Molemmissa makuuhuoneissa on sähkölämmittimet. Suihkuhuone on kaakeloitu kokonaan 90 cm: n kvadrantti-suihkukaapilla, suurella pesualtaalla ja pyyhekuivaimella. Kuuma vesi pesemiseksi ja suihkuttamiseksi saadaan suuren kapasiteetin upotuslämmittimellä.

Ulkopuolella on sisäpiha ja terassi, joka on varustettu ruokailuvälineiden ulkokalusteilla. Takana on suuri lasten leikkikenttä, kun vanhemmat rentoutuvat varustetuilla aurinkotuoleilla ja nauttivat näkymistä avoimelle maaseudulle. Pysäköintitilaa on paljon.

Tämä kaunis mökki sijaitsee pienessä kylässä Plusquellecin kunnassa, ja se on vain puolentoista mailin päässä Callacin markkinakaupungin ulkopuolella. Täältä löydät jokaisen keskiviikkoaamun lisäksi suositut viikkomarkkinat. Kaksi supermarkettia, kaksi leipuria, posti, kolme pankkia, lihakaupat / leivonnaiset, leivonnaiset, lehtikioski, viinikauppias, kaksi kukkakauppaa ja apteekki. samoin kuin useita baareja, ravintoloita ja huoltoasemia ja erittäin mukava lahjakauppa.

Kuten suurimmassa osassa Ranskan maaseutua, suurin osa kaupoista suljetaan maanantaisin, mutta ovat avoinna koko loppuvuoden, myös sunnuntai-aamuisin. Supermarketit ovat avoinna seitsemänä päivänä viikossa (aamuisin vain sunnuntaisin). Callacilla on myös oma rautatieasema, josta juna Guingampiin yhdistää TGV-linjaan Pariisin ja Brestin välillä. Ja jos rakastu alueeseen ja päätät haluavasi oman loma-asunnon, valinnassa on kolme kiinteistönvälittäjää!

Beautiful home in the heart of Brittany

We stayed for one week in this tastefull and well equipped house. The welcome by Val and Bryn was very warm, and they provided us with lots of helpful information for day trips and shopping. An excellent location to discover the different coasts of Brittany!

Tolles Haus in ruhiger Lage

Wir waren 5 Nächte während unserer Bretagnerundreise in dem schönen Haus von Val und Bryn und haben von dort aus viele Ausflüge in die Umgebung und an unterschiedliche Strände gemacht. Eine tolle Zeit mit tollen Gastgebern!!!!

Der Empfang war überaus freundlich. Die Gastgeber kümmerten sich um jedes Detail. Im Haus ist es gemütlich und es wurde an alles gedacht. Die Umgebung ist ländlich, ruhig und friedlich und sogar noch ein wenig ursprünglich, ideal für Menschen, die wirklich Ruhe suchen. Dazu tragen auch die schöne Terrasse und die Liegen auf der Wiese bei. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!!!

The property was a home away from home for us. Clean, quiet, comfortable where everything works well. Even sharp knifes. We have stayed in many VOBO's, this is the finest of them all. Excellent location. We did day trips to every beautiful location in Brittany during our stay. Bryn and Val are the most wonderful hosts and neighbors during our stay. We will miss them. Home away from home

We could not have wished for a better accommodation for our summer break. Not only was the Gîte exactly as described, the hosts Bryn and Val were the warmest, friendliest, most welcoming people we ever encountered on a holiday. Everything was perfect, the location is a fantastic starting point to explore the beauty and diversity of Brittany or just to relax on a chair in the garden and spend the day reading and taking in the atmosphere. Highly recommended!

Ein toller Standort zur Erkundung der Bretagne

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt in der schönen und üppig ausgestatteten Ferienwohnung. Alles da was man braucht. Ein idealer und ruhig und zentral gelegener Ausgangspunkt zur Erkundung der Bretagne. Und Val und Bryn sind die nettesten Vermieter die wir je hatten. Super!

SUPERB FACILITIES AND SUPERB HOSTS

We spent a week at the Banks' lovely cottage in Brittany. The cottage had everything that we required and Bryn and Val had provided all the little extras that are needed when away from home, which included a very generous welcome pack. The hosts' hospitality was second to none throughout our stay. We can only repeat that everything about the accommodation was superb and we highly recommend the property for all those wanting to visit Brittany.

Perfect cottage, perfect location, perfect hosts

We loved our week in the Gite au Manoir. Our goal was to spend the week touring Brittany by bicycle... we wanted to see as many different parts of the area as possible without spending hours in the car to get to and from each day's ride. Le Git au Manoir is perfectly located for this - we could get to just about everywhere we wanted to go within an hour to an hour and a half. It's also really convenient that Callac is on the doorstep for shopping and eating out, with even more restaurant choices in towns a little farther afield. However, we found that we spent most evenings eating in - the gite is so cozy, relaxing and welcoming that we preferred whipping up something "at home" to getting back in the car to go to a restaurant. It's also very well-stocked - we found everything we needed to cook meals, do laundry, even clean our bikes after a muddy day! Bryn and Val are great hosts - very welcoming, very helpful and very friendly - it was a pleasure to meet them. We hope to spend more time in the future touring around Brittany and we hope to go back and stay in Le Gite au Manoir when we do!

Unreservedly recommended.

Bryn's & Val's lovely gîte allowed us to have exactly the kind of tranquil break we had been looking for: our meals out-of-doors on the front patio; nooks and crannies round the yard and garden (not to mention the neighbour's dog Holly/Oli and the alpacas just up the road) irresistible to a 6 year old; the indoor brocante just down the road (where we found Sarreguemines ceramic bowls for an excellent price); the closeness of fantastic local food markets, supermarkets, bakeries; the chance to prepare our meals in a kitchen equipped with everything a cook could wish for; the chance to explore another town and a different beach each afternoon; the lovely breezes moving through the house as the day advanced; a log fire each evening; being able to sleep deeply and soundly each night. Our hosts were warm and kind. Their personal file of recommendations was invaluable. We were delighted to have been lucky enough to find such a place to spend a precious holiday week, and such people to allow this to happen.

★★★★★ Excelent hosts, superb accommodation, relaxing location.

Excellent/good bits: Bryn and Val are fantastic hosts, living in a beautiful manor on site they are near enough to provide assistance and advice, but savvy enough to give you plenty of personal space when/if required. The Gite is well thought out, large, homely, and spotlessly clean with your own outside areas, front and rear, so always shade or sun as required. Bad bits: None. Idiosyncrasies: The upstairs floors may squeak and groan a little, but are made from a lovely warm solid wood. Callac is a nice small friendly town with good supermarket and other specialist shops. A couple of restaurants, including crepes and pizza. A great base for working from, we managed trips out to all points on the Brittany compass with the furthest coastal region being around 1 1/2 hours relaxed drive. Favourite towns were Quimper and Morlaix. (the run to Morlaix was around 60 minutes along a relaxing, well maintained single carriageway road. We did hit it once during "rush Hour" and must have passed as many as 30 cars in total!! during the complete journey. Time permitting, we will return. So thanks Bryn & Val for everything, especially the wine. Steve & Jacqueline

Wunderschönes Haus in der Bretagne

In diesem geschmackvoll eingerichteten Ferienhaus haben wir wunderbare drei Wochen verbracht. Von hier konnte man die Bretagne sehr gut erkunden. Erwähnen möchten wir noch die Freundlichkeit der Vermieter Bryn und Val die uns einen herzlichen Empfang bereitet haben. Dieses schöne Feriendomizil können wir uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen. Wunderbarer Bretagne-Urlaub

Das Haus ist sauber, groß, geschmackvoll eingerichtet und perfekt ausgestattet. Wir hatten zu viert zwei tolle Wochen. Bryn und Val sind die freundlichsten Vermieter, die man sich denken kann, und das Haus ist ein guter Ausgangspunkt, um die Bretagne in alle Richtungen zu erkunden.

Excellent, quiet and rural

From the lovely welcome to the easy departure, this was a wonderful stay. The cottage (gite) is sensitively modernized, with all of the conveniences and facilities that we could want - and a few more besides. The accommodation is light and airy and set in a rural area. Val and Bryn were wonderful hosts, available, informative and welcoming and yet not intrusive - an excellent balance and one that we appreciated. We have no hesitation in recommending this cottage very highly and hope that we have an excuse to return sometime soon.

This place is great, very highly recommended

The gite is very impressive; comfortable, clean and very well equipped. The owners are very welcoming and helpful though fortunately we didn't have any problems for them to deal with! They made us a lovely brew on arrival after a long drive and provided a welcome pack which was appreciated. Highlights are a very refreshing power shower, wifi and a fully equipped kitchen. The back garden is very spacious and great for kids to run around and play in; despite having days out, we had a lot of great family time in the garden. The gite is central for a large range of outdoor attractions in all directions although we went mostly to the North. Highlights being Ploumanac'h, Huelgoat, Chateau de la Roche Jagu and Mael-Carhaix, all of which the kids (girls aged 2 and 5) loved. My favourite was Fort La Latte which we visited on the way back to Calais though again, we all enjoyed it. The weather was good which always helps and overall we had a wonderful family holiday with many fond memories. The gite is great, the owners are great and I would highly recommend a stay here to anyone.

More than a vacation . . . a memory to cherish

It’s hard to see how anyone could go wrong with this delightful property that melds old world charm and splendor with all the comfort and amenities of modern life! This refurbished manor home is a wonderful base from which to explore or to simply unwind and relax on those days you’d rather just rest and savor the peace and tranquility of a quiet vacation. We found the property exactly as described . . . clean, well appointed, and tastefully furnished. It offers spacious, well furnished sitting and dining room, modern and well-equipped kitchen facilities, very pleasant sleeping quarters upstairs, with delightful grounds to enjoy outside . . . truly a cosy and comfortable place to come home to at the end of a busy day touring and savoring the charm and delight of Brittany. It is a quiet property indeed for a soothing peaceful getaway, and yet close to so much to do. On those days we wanted to be on the move, we particularly enjoyed the Cornouaiile Festival in Quimper, splendid hiking along the Cote Granite Rose and the nearby Gorges du Gorong, market day in Calac, while day trips to Le Mont St-Michel and nearby St Malo were a must. On other days, it was a delight to simply succumb to the comfort of this quiet haven of peace and tranquility . . . the perfect spot to rest, to read, to cook or to just get out and explore the surrounding countryside. All in all, we wrapped up a delightful, relaxing week very much aware that there was still so much left unseen! The information and documentation was very helpful, while the on-site hosts (Val and Bryn) were out of sight yet always near and available for help, information and suggestions when sought (help with the Wifi, extra tongs for when we lit up the BBQ, baking soda for smelly sneakers etc). Their thoughtfulness with the little details were a big plus indeed in making our stay most pleasant and memorable . . . true hospitality with a capital H! Highly recommended!

Delivers what it says on the tin - with excellence

Conveniently situated for all the attractions of Brittany – coast, lakes, medieval castles and abbeys, markets and a host of quality restaurants. Equally well served by local facilities including an excellent “Cave” in nearby town. We did our best to explore all the possibilities during our week long stay – but failed miserably to do so! What made our visit to Brittany even more memorable was our stay at Le Gite Au Manoir. It is unquestionably of the highest quality and a real home from home. The owners have done everything possible to make the house welcoming and comfortable. The accommodation is spacious and very attractively furnished throughout. The downstairs embraces sitting, dining and kitchen facilities. The sitting area is built around extremely comfortable furniture, wood burner, SKY TV and a choice of stereo systems. The dining area accommodates 6 adults - as we proved when visited by friends! The kitchen includes hob, oven, microwave, dish washer and washing machine – plus all the crockery and utensils one could possibly need. WiFi is available throughout the house. All the equipment appeared to be new and worked well – instructions for use produced by the owners were both comprehensive and easy to follow – as were the owners recommendations on local facilities including emergencies, attractions, restaurants and nearby markets. The bedrooms and bathroom on the first floor were both spacious and extremely comfortable – with plenty of hot water as required. The entire house was furnished to an extremely high standard and in excellent taste. However, what made the Gite even more special was the welcoming by the owners and their personal attention to the detail and ensuring that we had everything we needed for an extremely pleasant and relaxing stay. We will certainly be returning and recommending the Gite to our friends.
