beautiful location for nature lovers with tranquil, lake side view and bird song.Spotlessly clean throughout with plenty of fluffy towels.Good spacious bathrooms & showers.Good washing machine & tumble dryer.Kitchen is large and spacious and there’s an excellent place to get breakfast just a short drive away (Rise & Grind) if you want to treat yourself.On the downside, the description didn’t make it clear that none of the bedrooms have en suite facilities and the 2nd double bedroom is on the lower ground floor.Smaller windows in all of the bedrooms lack blinds so very light early in the morning when we stayed in May.Flat pillows :(We were drawn to this property too because the description talked about the outside space but the reality was that it needed a good leaf blower and jet wash to go over it. It looked quite scruffy and unattended. And actually there were so many mosquitoes (no ones fault, I know) that it would not have been pleasant to sip one’s coffee out there.We were only there for a weekend stay and the first evening was spent trying to get the TV controls to work. We then attempted to put some upstairs heating on as the house felt quite cold by evening, but had to turn it off due to the unpleasant smell.While the management company were happy to send someone out to look at the a/c situation, we declined as our stay was too short to be sharing the house with engineers.A guest user manual for the property would have been useful.
