”Lovely hotel with stunning views. Tiny outdoor pool area and uncomfortable chairs on the veranda and bedroom terrace but the view made up for everything. The food was excellent (very large portions!) ”
”En juuri arvostele hotelleja, mutta tässä tapauksessa täytyy tehdä poikkeus. Hotelli on mahtavasti suunniteltu ja sisustettu helmi Penhas Douradas kukkulan rinteellä. Sisustus on yhdistelmä skandinaavista minimalismia ja 70-luvun hiihtomajaa, parhaassa mahdollisessa mielessä. Huoneet ovat siistit ja persoonalliset, ja ainakin "cork room"eissa oli mainio, koko seinän ikkuna josta avautui kaunis näkymä hotellin edustalle. Hotellista löytyy myös uima-allas, sekä varsin toimiva sauna. Hotellin...
”Erinomainen hotelli pienessä kylässä. Ruoka oli hyvää (joskin ylihinnoiteltua kuten hotelleissa usein), huone oli ihana oman pikku parvekkeen kera ja uima-allas näytti mukavalle (vaikkakaan ei sitä ehditty kokeilemaan). Kylään oli kävelymatka, joten kaikki oli lähellä mitä tarvitsee. Ainoa pikku miinus tulee siitä että paikalla oli sen verran vähän henkilökuntaa että esimerkiksi aamulla uloskirjautumista odoteltiin 20 minuuttia. Tosin kun perhehotelli on kyseessä niin sen ymmärtää ettei porukkaa...
”A fine place to stay, but it’s PR is not helped by the unattractive photo of the indoor pool which is prominent in its advertising. I would suggest a shot of the town of Manteigas from the hotel- a beautiful vista indeed.”
”Location is perfectly situated in peaceful surroundings yet short drive into town, absolutely beautifully decorated inside and outside, family owned by wonderful people who made us feel more like family than renting guests, breakfast served to your table with homemade honey, marmalades, and meats/regional cheese, and fresh bread! Our room was comfortable and had a nice view of the mountain…a/c worked quietly and efficiently. Bathroom small but shower had hot water and ample room to place...
”Fantastic location, friendly staff, great food. If the Serenity concept is to work, the management has to decide: either an adults-only hotel or a separate playground for children. This needs to be improved, as the children otherwise are always loud with everyone.”
