Cabin at Locust Lake -3 swimming lakes with 2 kayaks, Close to Kalahari!

This 3 bedroom on the main floor plus a large master bedroom en-suite on the second floor, 2 bath chalet style home is in a prime location in the Locust Lake Community with two kayaks included to use which has 4 lakes in the community and tons of things to do. It is a short walk (about 5 minutes if that) to the lake and beach. It is also very close to Big Boulder Ski and Jack Frost (15min) Mountains as well as Camelback (25 min) for winter time skiing! Also close to Kalahari Resort for an indoor waterpark (20 minutes) and Great Wolf Lodge (25 min).

This is a 3 bedroom plus a master bedroom on the second floor, chalet style single family home, in a 4 lake community with tons of community amenities including a basketball court, tennis courts, playgrounds, bocce ball court, ability to fish on the stocked lakes, in the winter there is even a small ski hill (snow permitting and additional charges may apply!

The house has a nice wooded setting with a large outdoor deck area with includes use of propane grill with plenty of seating.

The house has a nice floor plan with three bedrooms on the first floor and a bedroom and bath upstairs. There is a large deck perfect for a BBQ and entertaining. The house is equipped with high speed WIFI with streaming capable TV's (one in the family room and two in the downstairs bedrooms). The TV's allow you to connect to streaming apps. (please note there is no TV Cable. A fully equipped kitchen is available for home-cooked meals. There is air conditioning!!!


AMENITIES:
4 Community Lakes within the community, of which 3 lakes are available for swimming (pines beach is the closest) Locust Lake, Pines Lake, East Lake, & Pilgram Lake (ice skating lake if the weather allows for it in the winter time). Access is provided complimentary for up to 6 guests additional guests incur a charge (children under 12 do not need a wristband), and each car is charged $5 by the community.
There is also a small ski hill in the winter if the weather permits (community imposes additional charge for using this ski hill)

Locust Lake
Large, covered pavilion with picnic tables. Dance parties with live music at the pavilion are always on the LLV Event Calendar!
Canoe and kayak storage racks and a boat launching ramp.
Volley ball court, concrete shuffle board, horseshoe pits.
Concession snack bar with hot/cold food, snacks and ice cream.
Locust Lake is stocked with game fish prior to opening season for those who already enjoy the sport or want to take it up.

Pines Lake
Pines Lake is the largest lake in the Village, and comes with with canoe and kayak storage racks and boat docks.
Aqua Slide, an inflatable, floating obstacle course designed for children to climb and explore, is a favorite attraction at Pines Lake. Coast Guard approved life vests are required.
Concession snack bar, Bocce Ball and volleyball courts, horseshoe pits.
Most popular tradition is the “Cardboard Boat Race” every Labor Day weekend.

East Lake
East Lake is also stocked with game fish prior to opening season. A PA fishing license is required to fish at East or Locust Lakes. Sponsored fishing contests at East Lake are a well-attended highlight of the season.
Tennis courts are located directly across Lake Lane from East Lake.
A basketball court, a volleyball court, soccer nets and baseball fields are nearby.
The most popular tradition is the dazzling Labor Day fireworks display.

Linens and bath towels are provided along with shampoo and conditioner so you do not have to pay extra or pack your own! We also have a washer and dryer in our unit for your use. (Please note that the washer and dryer are located in the loft bedroom on the second floor)
