Boho Chic…Our home is warm, welcoming, well stocked, thoughtfully & tastefully designed. We are a family of 4 but we love to travel with friends and their children. We specifically designed the space to accommodate two families. Upstairs we have a Queen bedroom, the second bedroom has 2 bunk beds along with a full bathroom. Downstairs we have a Queen bedroom and 2 twin sized beds and both floors offer living areas. We have a lot of toys and games for children of all ages.
Be our guest at Treetop Terrace located in Locust Lake Village in Pocono Lake. Treetop Terrace offers you a chance to rejuvenate in nature, as well as being close to many of the attractions the Poconos has to offer. Our chalet can comfortably host 10 guests, offering families privacy by having two separate living quarters. Both floors have newly renovated full bathrooms, two Queen bedrooms, two twin beds, two twin-bunks for the kids, and two fireplaces to cozy up by the couches. The home is welcoming, warm and tastefully decorated.
The entry-level floor is great for both adults and kids. We have a foosball table, legends ultimate arcade with over 300 games which also has stream access, a couch to lounge on while watching TV, and a very chic dry bar. We have bins of family fun games along with lots of toy options for all kids ages. We can provide a pack and play, booster chair, high chair, stroller so you do not have to take up space in your car and we know kids come with a lot of accessories as we are parents ourselves. Walking up the steps is always intriguing and your eyes will immediately be directed to the custom halved log steps. They offer such a unique and rustic addition and are one of our favorite details of the home. The upstairs living space is an open concept, fully stocked full size kitchen with a coffee bar. Off the living / dining space you will find an enormous deck with everything you need for a bbq and gathering. Our deck has lots seating areas and is surrounded by Treetops (hence the name!) which offers you incredible views of nature and wandering wildlife.
Locust Lake Village offers 4 lakes, one is approximately a 5 minutes stroll from the home. The lakes all have beaches, We have two docked kayaks at Pines lake for your personal use and enjoyment. Additionally, two lakes offer summer weekend rentals of paddle boards, peddle boats, and kayaks. The lakes also have picnic and bbq grilling areas, bathrooms, and snack shops. There are beach volleyball courts, soccer, baseball, basketball, tennis courts and kids playgrounds, all included for you to use. We offer beach chairs, camping gear, life jackets and beach toys, and coolers for your use. Our community also offers events throughout the year, beautiful firework display by the lake on Memorial Day weekend, twice a week water slide at the chalet hill, blow up obstacles at Locust Lake for the kids. You are also welcome to fish in the lakes (PA Fishing License required if over the age of 16).
During the winter season, Locust Lake Village offers a Ski hill with a T-bar lift and we provide sleds for you to use at the sledding hill (weather permitting) Treetop Terrace is approximately 5 to 8 miles from any major ski mountain and water parks. We additionally offer a custom Welcome Book with tours, shops, attractions and curated information to make your stay, the most enjoyable vacation in the Poconos. Treetop Terrace is located in Locust Lake Village. Our community requests all incoming guests and vehicles to be registered in their association office for security purposes. The registration fee is $35 for the length of your stay, information must be submitted at least 48 hrs prior to arrival date. The association office is located in the entrance of community. We give our guests space but we are available when needed. Happy to leave plenty of guidance and only a text or phone call away if you need anything at all!
We have 4 lakes in our community, one is an 8-minute walk from our home. We have a small ski hill with a T-bar lift on the weekends, the sledding hill is open every day and we provide blow-up tubes and sleds. Our community is approx. 10 mins drive to the Kalahari Waterpark & Jack Frost, Big Boulder, Pocono Race Track. 20-25 minutes to Camelback resorts, Mount Airy Casino, Crossing outlets & water rafting. 35-40 minutes from Bushkill Falls, Historic Jim Thorpe, Skirmish paintball, Scranton Electric City.
The best way to get around is by car. Locust Lake Village has 24 hours security. Our driveway can fit up to 5 cars, no street parking is allowed in the community. Please note the community's speed limit is 25 m/h. Security enforces reckless driving with violation tickets.
Guests must show proof of ID, and bring car registration/insurance documents. The hanging car tags that you will receive upon checking-in at the office must be displayed on the rear view mirrors at all times. There is an attended compactor at 202 Marthas Lane where your garbage and recycling can be dropped off. The compactor closes most days at 3:30 pm, 5 pm on Wednesdays & Sundays and is closed on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Easter Sunday, Thanksgiving & Christmas Days
