”We showed up for our 3pm check in to be told that our room was not going to be ready until 5pm. We had to sit in the lobby for two hours and all they discounted was the $10 parking fee for the weekend. The front desk guy was really nice though so blame put on him. Also, if you’re a shy person when I comes to using the bathroom the suite room that we had had a rolling door that left an inch crack in it. If you’re on the toilet you could be seen by someone on the bed. ”

”This motel is conveniently located in the Eastside neighborhood, in the Soquel triangle. We love this neighborhood! A classic 50s style motel, very roomy, great wifi and cable tv, clean and spacious bathroom, comfy bed”

”The area was nice. The cabinets were a little old and they need renovation. We had a good time. Just be aware that the Cabin ms are a little bit outdated.”

”I needed a place to stay over the weekend here in Santa Cruz. When looking up nearby hotels to the event I wanted to go to, this one came up as close. Expedia shows this as a 7.8/10, but when you look it up on google, it says 2/5 star hotel. The thing that made me book the hotel in the first place was the fact that it was cheap and it had advertised on Expedia that it has SOUNDPROOF ROOMS.... this is an absolute lie. Once I got in my hotel room, the people in the conjoining room were blasting...

”Friendly easy check in and check out, simple but clean/ fresh room. Beds were comfortable and the air conditioning worked well. Overall we were satisfied staying in this well kept motel at a reasonable rate.”

”I've stayed here many times. I come back because the rooms are clean and comfortable. It's also a great location for my needs. The one improvement they could make would be the breakfast. It's included so it's not a big deal, but a little effort to expand the options would make a difference for people who are staying there on business for a week or longer.”

”The restaurant food is delicious, the drinks at the bar were delightful, bartenders are tentative, the pool was clean & the suite we stayed in was spacious and clean. Definitely will come again ”

”The property does seem a little dated, but it’s cute and quaint. The pool was nice and clean and the double hotubs were a good plus! We were also able to check in 2 hours early which was great. The rooms were also very spacious. Only complaint I have was that our room faced the parking lot and it was extremely bright from the street lights as the blinds weren’t black out. ”
