”The communication with the host was a bit confusing as I was told that a “colleague” would be there but, actually, it was the host’s mother. Altogether the family was very nice and helpful (could leave my luggage at early arrival and go explore). The room was cute with a comfy bed, maybe a little overstuffed with mismatched old furniture. Everything was sparkling clean. A fridge and a kettle were provided. Only upon arrival I realised that my room did not have an ensuite but a shared bathroom....

”This is a beautiful historic palace and we loved being in the center of San Gimignano! The host was very helpful and accommodating of our party. When we booked we thought the apartment common area was part of the apartment but it is a shared space for the palace. ”

”The location is impressive - right in the historic area . It is very authentic and atmospheric. It challenging in some ways. Parking is difficult and inconvenient. Inside there are challenges for older travelers or those who aren’t physically strong - difficult staircases, inadequate railings, uneven floors , etc. ”
