”I had booked a Queen room in a studio since that was on the best promotion. I called the hotel afterward to see if they could do 2 double beds since I was traveling with my son. Not only did the reservation lady give us a change of beds, she upgraded us to a gorgeous big room with a separate living room and kitchen, no charge. The desk staff were nice, the rooms were cleaned everyday (hard to find), and it's in the best location. Not taking anything away from the hotel, but I would not...

”We love staying at the Melrose. It’s near the Foggy Bottom metro and there’s a Trader Joe’s across the street. The hotel is beautiful and the staff is great. Chanee’ was so friendly and helpful. She, along with the other staff there, always greeted us and asked if we needed anything. Lizbeth even text me during our stay to check on us and see if we needed anything. We will be back! ”

”Location was perfect! I spent more the night before for a higher ranked hotel in sketchy area. I consider this hotel to be a true 5 star. The restaurant recommendation, I would have never found. The kitchen closed late and we arrived when kitchens in the area were closing. It was memorable with my teenage daughter. I will never stay anywhere else if in DC. Beds were amazing! Thank you! ”

”This was very clean, well kept, exactly how it was described on the website, close to a meter station and bus stops. the ONLY downside was the liquor store on the corner that attracted lots of loitering close by and some homeless looking beggers that seemed permanent. was comfortable after dark and would not have wanted to be here if i was alone. other places close by but didnt have the loiterers..”

”We had a wonderful stay here at Global Luxury Suites. Easy check-in online.All the info was given and when help needed Bushra Chaudry made sure our stay was what we expected. What great customer service! Rooms are nice and airy.Well equipped.Wonderful location. Pool area was great with wonderful lifeguard. All in all our family of 4 greatly enjoyed our stay! ”

”Great place to stay in DC. Only about a block from a Metro Train Station if you want to go somewhere but easily walkable to DC highlights like an evening walk to the Mall and Lincoln Memorial. There’s a Panera, McDonalds, sub shop right on the same block if you need quick food. The hotel was very quiet at night and the accommodations were spacious. We had an entire 2-bed 2-bath apartment for ourselves and son for much the same price as a regular hotel room in the area.”
