”Cultivar Lodge was lovely! Hotels.com had placed four adults into a 15m2 room, but luckily the lovely staff at Cultivar was able to organise us bigger apartment. The apartment (Pinotage) was just perfect. The view was amazing, room beautifully decorated and customer service excellent! Nevertheless, it is good to understand that there is no food available after 5 pm. The closest winery / restaurant is within 10 min drive and table reservation is needed. ”

Our first floor room was spacious and well decorated with all ameneties including tea/coffee, fridge, beach towels etc. TV had Netflix etc. More St James than Kalk Bay but only 10mins walk to Kalk Bay. ”Celebrated my 40th birthday here and it was one of the best hotel experiences ever. The staff is friendly & knowledgeable, they felt more like family. The property is breathtaking and beautiful. The pictures do it very little justice. They offer breakfast every morning and it was very tasty. The property was extremely clean and quiet.
